Posting my plan to see if I can do them and use up some of the stuff in my cupboards!

Fri (tomorrow) poached salmon with peas and chorizo
    Sat - out
    Sun - my mums (I think! :D)
Mon - lamb and butternut tagine
Tues - Coq au vin (hm from freezer)
    Weds - sausage jambalaya
    Thurs - Chicken and chips
Fri - rainbow trout - prob with potatoes and veg
Sat + Sun - not sure, whatever is left over!

This is just for me and I'm scaling the recipes down for 1 and they are more a loose guide to what to do with my ingredients than I have all that stuff:cool:! I've not done them before - but if they're not too much of a faff they may appear more regularly!

    Hi everyone :)
didn't do too badly last week, but OH decided he didn't fancy monday nights dinner after a trip to the dentist, but instead of a takeaway we ended up in waitrose buying very tasty premade pies, mash and veg (very very :o:o:o but still spent less including a bottle of wine than we would have on a takeaway:o)
The plan for this week is

Tu 9th pork chops, saute spuds &greens
We 10th something with fish probably-thai salmon noodles maybe, or possibly a veggie thai curry
    Th 11th shepherds pie, veg
Fr 12th pasta, peas, beans and pesto
Sa 13th ribs, sweetcorn &jacket spuds
Su 14th boiled bacon, greens &mash (or roasties?)

I actually stuck to last week's meal plan with no changes at all, for the first time in ages. Let's see if I can do it again this week! :o

Friday - not sure yet - a planned night out with friends got cancelled, so I'll just see what I fancy in the evening (it might be lentil and veg curry. Or it might not!)
Saturday - chilli cheese burger and salad
Sunday - jacket potato with chicken, lentil and tomato sauce
Monday - cheese and tomato pasta bake
Tuesday - pork, leek and taleggio risotto
Wednesday - chicken kiev, chips and beans
Thursday - vegetable, taleggio and pesto gratin
Back after a very long break!
