Getting biro out of carpet

Options
My son decided to draw circles on my cream carpet yesterday with a biro.

Any tips on how to get it out, carpet 1001 cleaner isn't even remotely removing it!

Thanks

There's an older thread on getting biro out of a cotton top which should be of help and yes, milk seems to be the favourite but there are a few alternatives:-

Try a tiny amount of meth spirit on a clean dry cloth and dab gently. I use this on my DS t-shirts after he's gotten a little too creative!

Stain Devils used to do an ink remover product - dunno how good it is, but SD stuff usually does what it says.
