I've just started making bracelets but I'm very much a beginner. I love beads and have to ban myself from ebay or else I'd spend my wages on beads.
I made my mum (and myself!) a pandora style bracelet for xmas which went down well. I'd love to try more jewellry styles but can so far only manage either pandora style or 1 line of beads. Can't wait to start picking some of your brains!

Ooooh I think this is a fab idea, may try this for my nieces and female family members Christmas 2010.
Can all the stuff needed for making (beads, tools, chain etc) be bought off eBay?"Not here for a long time...just here for a good time" - Kat Von D0 -
I use this shop for a lot of items http://stores.shop.ebay.co.uk/EmsGems-and-Beads__W0QQ_armrsZ1
To start, memory wire bracelets are really easy to make and you can do them with a minimum of tools (a pair of round nose pliers are all you need) and supplies, some memory wire and beads and thats it. I made several bracelets for Christmas for female friends after buying the memory wire from the above shop. Each bracelet cost me 50p or less depending on the beads I used (mostly seed beads-Czech ones are good to buy).
These are a good option if you want to try out some wire work or for making earrings
