Hundreds every day, or hundreds over say a year? Most of us are doing well over 50 a day (hundreds, maybe).

I've had a couple of very good wins, but hardly any small ones. But then I don't tend to enter the small comps (unless it's for makeup or a CD, DVD or something that I want). I won naff all in November but the couple of months before were good. One big win a year is worth all the effort I think :D

I know everyone else seems to win, but you need to ask yourself if it's a comp you'd have entered. I see tonnes of wins on here but most of them I'd not have entered so I try not to think about the fact I've not won a lot despite entering what feels like thousands every week!

Also, if you've only been entering them recently, most won't have closed yet. You need to enter every day for months really before any regular wins might start trickling in (once all the end dates kick in).

Good luck - I'm sure a big win will be heading your way soon! :D

In the end it will boil down to luck but the numbers will help as well.Quite a few of us on here enter 2000+ per month & even then may only get a win every few weeks. That figure ,for me excludes the multilpes like TAB,ITV,GMTV etc.Just keep trying. My first big win was a holiday to New York when I only entered about 100 per month so there is always hope.
It might just be me but I feel " competition karma" exists.Post a few comps, give away a few prizes and they seem to come back:D

i think the key to comping is consistency, and fitting in as many comps a day as possible,50 or more a day,it takes time and effort, and to me sometimes is a pain in the !!!!,thats why ive had a long break, but am back now lol.

you have to keep plugging away, there no point entering a few here and there and thinking your going to win, cause you wont,id say odds are probably that you win one prize in every thousand comps, could be something small could be something big, some months you may get quite a few prizes, some months nothing at all, just keep plugging away.

i used to sit here and i used to think jammy !!!!!!s he/she is always winning something, then it came to my turn and i had a real good lucky streak, keep at it mate, youll get there.

p,s i look at the winners now and think im so happy for them.
    It`s getting to the point
  • I thought this for a long time but I kept plodding along with them and this week I have had three decent wins including an ipod.
Just keep going and remember that some of these comps have finishing dates that are ages away, so some you may win prizes from things you entered months ago.
I think you just have to ride it out until your luck comes in - wins are like buses!
    Prizes:
    2013 - £3,500; 2014 - £8,200; 2015 - £9,300; 2016 - £6,500; 2017 - £9,500; 2018 - £1,600; 2019 - £2,100; 2020 - £2360!
Thanks for everyone's help getting these xx

    I know how you feel.

I did about 1000 then decided to do a spreadsheet and done over another 1000 and these are all since beginning of November.

I do get disheartened seeing all the wins.

I did win a Robbie Williams download and 3 John Smiths shirts but oh and a pack of chips but that compared to the over 2000 I've entered.

Some comps I didn't even bother entering on my spreadsheet as I have a tracker on louquax.

It can get you down and my hubby keeps moaning at me for spending hours each day doing comps and not seeing anything for it and he has to use a jemmy to get me off the comp lol.

But I keep thinking my day will come and maybe a few will come together all at once.

As someone has said that a lot of comps are now closing so fingers crossed it will be our turn soon.

Please keep me informed how you're doing

Try and enter competitions for the smaller prizes too. Also enter competitions which you have a high chance of winning, for example the ones where there's like 1 of 50 prizes, or 1 of 1000 or something to that extent. Don't give up, a win will surely come your way. I'm still waiting for a proper win too. So far, the only stuff i've won are cash, chips, a rizla tin from the advent comp and vue cinema tickets, so i'd love to get a win like vouchers or an iPod or something, so i'll carry on.

EDIT: Spoke too soon haha, just now had a WEM for an iPod classic. :D
  • The past few weeks I've only won a couple of little bits and bobs and I've entered literally thousands of comps.
You just have to keep plugging away and keep your fingers crossed.
I'm still waiting for my first 'big' win and I've been comping for over 2 years.
    Good luck :)
Thanks to everyone who posts comps, I love winning prizes big and small
