The prima 3 for £1 off on the other thread is it a risk free one , or the one you are tied to for 1 year???
It doesn't really say and i don't want to get tied in!0 -
The terms and conditions for that offer are:
These subscriptions may not include all promotional items packaged with the magazine. Initial 12 month non-refundable contract applies. Unless written notice is given before the end of the initial term, the subscription will continue as a rolling 12 month non-refundable contract.
I doubt I would sign up - it looks like you can cancel in writing before the 3 month trial ends, their wording is vague enough, they could try to hold you to
plus its via the qualitymagazines website and they are trying to make all their subscriptions have a min 12 month termSee the stars they’re shining brightEverything’s alright tonight0 -
Thanks for explaining that, i think i'll go for one of the others instead then.0

Thank you divadee and sarahsaver for making the threads easier to follow :A
I got the Crabtree and Evelyn set from Junior today. It is a lovely box of soaps and small lotions, and as it even has a to and from gift label attached I couldn't find an excuse not to put it into my gift store box0 -
Ok, have had request from OH as he is fed up with me getting free gifts all the time, are there any mags that offers mens gifts eg aftershave, tools etc as he is looking for freebies.
Any ideas?0 -

As for being tied in, don't worry. I check my bank balance nearly every day on line (moneysaving geek that I am) and look at Direct Debits and so on in case there are any probs. What I do is when I take out a sub I wait for the first payment to go out then cancel the DD, and have had no problems this way. Currently got delicious, glamour, zest, and am waiting for Elle decoration. All I need now is the time to read them all!Member no.1 of the 'I'm not in a clique' group :rotfl:
I have done reading too!

Hi the reason it wouldn't accept your link is because tiny url is not allowed on this site please see the site rules.

Saw this posted on the offers thread:
AOL access enter keyword ‘magazines’ and you can get 2 free issues of
25 Beautiful Homes
Country Homes & Interiors
Country Life
Ideal Homes
Instyle
Practical Boat Owner
TV & Satelite Week
Essentials
Not working on my AOL - no magazine keyword - am I doing something wrong???
Thanks!

I cancelled my Direct debits months ago for some Computer mags and I'm sure I'm still getting them when they should have stopped last month at least. Two just came this week. When I log in to my subsinfo for Dennis Publishing it says - sub still active - I paid for more issues ages ago ago with dates - when I certainly didn't! There's till no direct debit set up or reinstated - as I check my bank online. Is it just me who finds that subs info usually totally wrong or out of date?0

Thanks for that - must admit I was a bit baffled but can understand if people have been using it to hide affiiliates! On other sites I use I'm in the habit of using Tiny to shorten *huge* links (mainly as it's the only one I can always remember the site address for!) but will certainly use the control panel to tidy up in future.
Cheers, m'dears!
