Show me your bathrooms.....PLEASE?

Options
After a very long and tiring day trekking round bathroom places, OH and I are about ready to divorce.

The situation was made worse by the fact I'd left my purse and credit cards on the kitchen worktop and didn't realise until we were an hour's drive away from home and got a phone call from eldest son. OH's cards were also in my purse as he'd left them lying one day so I 'helpfully' picked them up and tucked them into my purse so they wouldn't get lost. :D We had no money and were starving. Yay.....all the makings of a good day out.

Anyway......as the regulars will know, I need to buy slimline bathroom furniture. The problem is OH and I cannot agree on what 'look' to go for. He wants sharp contrast like glossy white units and dark wenge worktop....I want light oak or walnut units and beige tiles for a calming quiet bathroom.

The bathroom showrooms all seem to show the same ranges, set out in the same way which I found a bit surprising. So if a pearwood unit has a dark grey laminate worktop in one place for example, then it will be the same combination in another. :confused:All the assistants seem to want us to buy white units which is giving me a bit of a creepy 'Torchwood' feeling.

So, I wondered if anyone with bathroom furniture would be kind and post a pic of their bathroom, in the hope I could [STRIKE]copy them[/STRIKE], get inspiration. :D

Please take pity on me, I really dont want to be a single parent. :rotfl:

well mine is black white an chrome,,i like it cause its very clean and clinical but does look quite trendy in my opinion.....however my bathroom is small i suppose as my bedroom also has an ensuite , by the sounds of it i think your bathroom seems to be quite big if you require worktop/bathrom furniture ect ...

I have dark grey and white, which I love as it looks clean and modern but is so easy to change when I get bored :o At the moment I have duck-egg colour towels, bath mat and accessories. I've already bought hot pink stuff for when I'm tired of the duck-egg. After that, maybe bright yellow or fire-engine red :T. It's really easy to completely change and update when the basics are black/grey and white! My mum has beige and finds it really hard to brighten it up.

Beige tiles and an applewood vanity unit in our bathroom (scroll down to photos 7 and 8). I wanted something that wouldn't date but with a bit of a contemporary twist. Sorry it's my blog page rather than on here, I'm a bit of a techy twerp :o .

No bathroom furniture as such but I could show you a picture of my flooring once you reach that stage :)

(I went from beige to white)

This one I built from scratch, I had a cabinet maker run up the sink cabinet and the rest of room I built.

    Tiles are polished limestone.

These aren't my bathrooms, I used to install them, these are just a few I installed that I've kept images of.
