What's it about?
Now of course, part of the reason for doing this is the sheer joy of the title. However Easter's getting closer and supermarkets and stores like to hotly compete to smash each others' egg prices, so what are the cheapest, big, good eggs you can find? Reply here to let others know.

Tescos were selling the small Buttons eggs (205g) for 83p. (3 for £2.40) They cost much more elsewhere, over £1 sometimes.0

Not one of the big name brands I know but I went into Lidl's today & they have packs containing an easter bunny along with an assortment of eggs & minature bunnies, all gaily foil wrapped. The weight is 250gm & great value at £1.19.
They have foil wrapped bunnies at 79p also. The bigger the bargain, the better I feel.
I should mention that there's only one of me, don't confuse me with others of the same name.0 -

They had the Mini Eggs version of the same egg in Woolies for 86p, obviously not cheaper than Tesco, but thought I'd post it incase you don't have easy access to a Tesco!

Costco have a lovely great big clear tube containing a big cuddly bunny holding a large easter egg, surrounded by bags of mini eggs, cream eggs, mallows and chocs. It is really impressive looking and costs £9.99 and looks to be easily double that price. I got them for my kids as it saves buying all kinds of smaller eggs and they have a good quality soft toy to keep.Jane

Adli has eggs with mugs for £2.99, three designs a sponge bob and star wars, Bratz and Betty Boop. Seen it sponge bob one in tescos, about one pound more expensive.A smile and manners doesnt cost any thing0

I took advantage of the Boots 3 for 2 on eggs this week - they've got a Noddy one for £4.99 similar to the one my daughter received from a friend last year with a good quality ceramic cereal bowl, mug & egg-cup (and this year a plastic spoon too) and two chocolate eggs.
So for £9.98, 3 big-ish eggs, 3 smaller eggs, 3 bowls, 3 mugs, 3 egg-cups and 3 spoons.
Bump it over the £10 threshold with a pack of gum to get a £5 No. 7 voucher, remember to use your Advantage Card to collect the points, and the job's a good'un!
