I've just checked my itsyourview account and I have £48, only £2 to go . Mind you I joined in February 2007 so it's taken over 2 years to get that far!

I had nearly finished a long survey when I was told I was not suitable, I had a whinge at the waste of time and have not receievd a survey now for a few weeks. Wonder if there is any connection?
Oh don't mention this company... I had spent all of last Winter telling em about my xmas purchases and before that done quite a few surveys for them and was about the £50 threshold just have my account suddenly dissapear... I emailed them about it and some snotty !!!! got back to me saying my account was deleted as I answered a security question wrong on one of my surveys, I am guessing it was one of the xmas shopping diary entries, maybe I spent a different amount than what I told them I expected to spend or somet I duno but when I asked for a further explanation they ignored me. Shocking! Good site and fun surveys though but be careful they might just delete you for no reason :S

Same thing happened to me about 3 months ago, took me about a month before i got another survey from them, i think it was due to me reading a question incorrectly and thus failing their QA question.
i never even bothered to join this website - anywhere over £25 takes too long to reach and usually means surveys are not very frequent.
Instead i go through topcashback - 70p for every survey which you can cash out as soon as reached paid (standard cashback policy). I go on daily - if there are no surveys for you, or you fail to qualify you still get 1p - 2 times a day i believe.

I resigned from their site when they complained I had not passed a quality control question.
The reason why not passing the check was the awkwardly worded nature of the question that most other survey sites put more clearly.
That and doing it at 0300 in the morning dead tired.
So instead I do the same surveys on TopCashBack and get 70 pence, that I can withdraw from TCB as soon as it is credited to my TCB account by IYV.
Perhaps I would have got £1 a survey instead of 70 pence, but then again in all the time I was with IYV they only gave me a few surveys and many of them bombed out with "you do not fit the required profile".
If anyone else adopts the TopCashBack route, then note that besides getting 70 pence, you also get 1 pence for NOT QUALIFYING, whereas if you do not qalify for a survey that you start with IYV you get nothing.
So, if you try every day on TCB and get rejected you still get 30 pence a month more than you would have if just a member of IYV.
Finally, if you try in the morning for a survey and get rejected, try again 4 or 5 times, then if still no luck, wait until the evening/night and try, try, try again.
You may get two 1-penny "no survey" trackers, or only 1 (or even none tracked as their tracking is a bit hit-and-miss) as a "no survey", but overall you increase there chance of getting a 70 pence survey by not giving up after the first rejection for that day.
I am already confirmed to be receiving £4.34 by the end of July, if I was with IYV I would be waiting until next year before getting anything at all.
At about £3 a month so far average, I would have to wait until almost a year and a half to get £50 in one go, instead of £3 a month (once the 2 month lag for payments has elapsed) paid to me when I request it.

I did an It's Your View survey through the site a few days ago, and it was for £3 - much more than when doing their surveys through other sites. The downside is my balance stands at £18, and is going nowhere fast!
You can also do their surveys through Mutual Points, although their tracking system is rubbish. They pay out 75 points, which is around 68 pence.
Haven't heard from them for weeks, and when I enter their name, I am returned to my mail server. Are they still operating and if so, what about the money they owe me? Anybody help?
Well, since I last posted I've managed to get another £8 . Does anyone who's been lucky enough to get paid know when their payment day is? I can't find it anywhere on their website

That sounds awful sandracrv after all that hard work that would be so frustrating for me. Im of mixed opinion with this site because at the start I received an alright amount of surveys but now they seem to have dried up and I get screened out more often
action group against its your view
i am looking to take action against this company in the small claims court.
anyone interested in joing this group please add your name to this thread.
had been a member for over two years, had accumulated £47 pounds.
invalid login details???
find out that i had failed 3 quality control checks.
i am forwarding all these details to the watchdog magazine and also the which consumer magazine.
firmly believe that this cannot be a coincidence? how many others is this happening too?
just by searching a few forums, i see that this is happening to over a dozen persons, and amazingly it always seems when people are approaching their £50 pound payout!
this company should be named and shamed.
i am more tha prepared to lose a few hundred pounds in a small claims court to highliht this company.
lets not let this company get away with it.
perhaps we can set up a website detailing complaints.
i would willingly set this website up frree of charge.
what do you guys think?

The same happened with me.
I had been with them for ages and got to payout once and got my cheque. The next time I was nearing payout (£42) they gave me the invalid login/failed quality checks rubbish. This was a while ago now and they never answered my emails.
From a legal standpoint, and this is not me giving legal advice as I never do this, I would strongly imagine they have themselves covered by their T + C's. Make sure your properly research into this first before just going straight for the legal route as its very complex.
