sat navs

I'm looking to buy a sat nav and have no idea what to get. I won't be using it that often but I'm on call at nights so need something that's easy and quick to use.

OH uses taxis a lot with work and says they all have Tomtoms but I'm also thinking of Garmin Nuvi. The trouble is both makes have got loads of models although I don't really want to pay much over £100.
I'd also like one that gives voice directions using road names if possible (like turn left into London Road).
Can anyone recommend anything?

Another Tom Tom fan here, completely fool proof even I could use it straight out of the box and never let me down...

I'm another TomTom fan too, I got Tom Tom one a couple of years ago, wouldn't be without it.

I have both TomTom and Garmin, and for ease of use and quality of the display (by that I mean the actual map picture on the display) the TomTom is better.

Look for a TomTom One, easily found under your budget.
