Went to La Tasca in Canary Wharf and picked the eat for £10 deal. The food was very nice and well cooked, everything we chose was lovely.

A couple of months later went to La Tasca in Windsor and the food was really poor. Potato's not cooked properly and other dishes just so sloppy I could have done better myself at home. That's put me off going to the Windsor one since, and I've not been back... I guess it would be nice to hear it was a one off if anyone has had good experiences in the Windsor one?

You can get vouchers for La Tasca with Tesco vouchers, We got £30 worth for £8 last time. Great deal.

I've been to the one in Watford and the one in Islington. The one in Islington was way better. The food was more authentic and they had an offer on corona or sol buy 4 and get 1 free.

The one in Watford is a bit hit and miss. Sometimes its great and sometimes its poor.

The canary wharf one was excellent. No problems, used the 50% off voucher.

Also Ealing Broadway was good.

We went to the Edinburgh one last month, first ever visit and had a great time and really enjoyed the food. We went to the Portsmouth one this week and although the service was a little strange at times, the food was much fresher than the Edinburgh one

Guess it all depends on so many variables

I completely recommend the olive and tomato bread, the tortilla and the mushroom croquettes. The orange and chocolate cheesecake is awesome too...................oh and so is the Sangria!!!

A friend wanted to book a group of us into the Derby one for her birthday. They only let you book for parties of 6 or more but if there's more than 8, you have to eat from some sort of set menu. Didn't bother.

I am not sure that you can. I tried to pay for tapas for a tenner with clubcard vouchers and was told that i couldn't because it was 'not in conjuction with any other offer'

Perhaps some places allow it, this was the Nottingham one so others may have different experience.

on a side note, I absolutely LOVE la Tasca!!

You can't use the Tesco vouchers with any of the 50% offers or the tapas for a tenner offer. I have tried!

I have only eaten in the Basingstoke branch and have always found the food to be nice, except for the tapas sized paella dishes. They were so dry I could turn the dish upside down and nothing fell out. Don't know about the full sized paella though as I prefer the tapas.
