Just got a "thanks for signing up for Martin's Money Tips"

... It's been sent to an email address that I don't use on this forum and was sent to me at 6.29am, when I was in bed asleep.

Getting annoyed now. I clicked on the link to UNSUBSCRIBE from this newsletter. I've come to check my email again and what do I find ? Yet another "welcome to martin's money tips" email in my inbox.

Why send me the email when I'm logged on here everyday ?

I can only think that some bright spark from MSE <replace spark with ****> is taking my email address from my profile and trying to get me to sign up for the weekly email.

I don't want the email. Can't you get the message ?!

Sorry for actually bumping these threads and making them all be at the top together

but it's just so the MSE team and members are aware of it happening and so posters with no answer in their thread have one and don't think they are being ignored!

They may be merged at some point

I am not sure what is happening here, but will get the technical team to look into it, obviously an automatic process isn't working properly.
