House prices have fallen 1.8% according to nationwide.

I wonder what halifax are going to report this time. Last month they said house prices rose by 1%. Lets see.

Might I suggest that the Halifax is owned by the government now, and seeing as we know how much they fiddle the figures, it's not improbable that they did it here, to try and engineer a recovery. I wouldn't put it past them, oh how I bet they wish they had a stake in Nationwide too.:rolleyes:0 -

My guess is they wouldn't fiddle the figures. As much as anything else, they would have their credibility destroyed. The embarrassment would be incredible.0 -
