should i scan all these in one day ??

Hi all you techie peeps ...

I have all theses on my p.c a adviced from tis site :
avira
spybot
ccleaner
glary utlities
malwarebytes anit- malware
hijack this

do they all do the same thing or are each different ??

i have run all but hijack this today and they have ALL found some fault or other ....is this right???

my p.c seems to be running slow and it keeps not responding any ideas ??

    It's all personal preference which one you use.....I would just use ccleaner.....run the registry one several times after doing the normal scan, until there is nothing left to fix, then by all means run one of the others....but it probably won;t find anything!
    If you leave them all on and running, it will definately slow your system down.

    Katie. Hijack is NOT for general use


    CCLEANER only needs to be run every few months
    GLARY only needs to be run once every 6 months or so
    The others you can run alternately weekly (Unless your infected in which case keep updating and running till the infections gone)

    Reboot and run a FRESH hijack log please :)

    I mentioned this last time but INCREDIMAIL is BAD. It has spyware AND adaware incorporated into it

    The last person (just yesterday) that tried to remove it nearly lost the use of her computer

    Ill get back to that in a tick

    also make sure u are running the latest java and unistall all previous versions latest version is Version 6 Update 1, will need to update mine when i get home

    RESET Internet Explorer ~
    1. Open Internet Explorer 7.
    2. Click Tools, and then click Internet Options.
    3. Click the Advanced tab.
    4. Under Reset Internet Explorer Settings, click Reset.
    Im unsure HOW you use incredimail. Is it an actual email? In which case you will lose it (So you may want to try moving everything over to a GOOGLEMAIL account say first)

    Incredimail is just an email client, so you should be able to keep all your email.

    What does your email address end with (the bit after the "@")?
