I put this here because it has multiple uses. I made both of these tonight.
This one

is a fashion of this http://andreawalford.com/?p=817 but I made up a chick instead. Theres a video to show you what to do. I would say when you've threaded the sweets if it's for children cut the point off the stick.
If you don't want to do all the paper cutting then you could just sandwich the stick between 2 pieces of fleece, say like a heart for valentines day or 2 pieces of fleece cut like a christmas tree. For birthday you could sandwich the stick between two pieces of card with happy birthday written on it.
This one was my own idea, I wanted to make it after I tried my other acetate boxes

It was just acetate rolled in a tube and stuck with crafting double sided tape, a sheet of chick paper and two small circles of card. Again multiple uses just by changing the choccy eggs and different coloured papers
Hope you like them, I'm going to do some for valentines day now.
Edit: tutorial for egg tubes on page 2.

Thank you to you both lilmoi and rainmac.
I love making things that you can just change the style of, it means I don't have to keep buying multiple craft items and of course after you've made the first one the next one seems so much easier.0 -
Oooooh you are so clever, I have just spotted your card on the other thread!.... I love them! especially the acetate tubes! .... I was going to buy some acetate boxes and fill them with little eggs but that tube looks so much better!
I have already made a start on buying easter things ... I bought 3 x easter malteser bunnies in Wilkos! :rotfl:Raising kids is like being held hostage by midget terrorists0 -
