Not received cashback terms and conditions from CPW

Hi would anyone be able to suggest to me how to resolve this problem with CPW? They appear to be screwing me over.

I upgraded my E2save contract over the phone on 27th August and changed to a CPW based contract. The contract is 12 months and entitles me to £300 cashback. I received my welcome letter through the post a few days later stating the details of my contract and the amount of cashback I could claim. It stated that I would soon receive a 'welcome pack' stating the terms and conditions for the cashback claim.

However it appears that the welcome pack never arrived. I have spoken to CPW three times since September each time requesting a welcome pack and have been promised it - however it has never arrived. Therefore I have no info about how to claim my cashback. This is a problem since I am supposed to send in my 'December' bill but I need to check the terms and conditions to see which one this is.

Does anyone know a method of contacting someone at CPW who will actually take some action and send out a welcome pack? Is there any sort of action I can take against CPW if they still don't send me the pack?

Thanks.

Good luck. You've ignored all the warnings on various threads on this forum for the last 18 months. I have read that with cpw itself you can send a claim as late as the end of the contract with no time limit; but I wouldn't trust this company on anything nowadays. Complaints are a waste of time, speaking with people generally gets you no-where. Your story is far from unusual. Since I believe also that you don't need a claim form with cpw direct, someone may be able to provide you with an address to send the bill. That would seem your best option having decided to swim with the sharks. At least your experience may also provide (yet) another warning to others who still think cpw is "reputable".

Just send your 4th, 8th and 12 bill to them. You don't need to bother with terms and conditions as they are not as strict as E2save.

Just ring up ask when you have to send them in - i.e which month and ask who you were speaking to and write it down.

This is what I do for the past 3 years with CPW and it works just fine.

Just as rask.m2k says, its bills 4,8 and 12. I had a similar pproblem last year and didn 't receive anything in writing. Just email Charles Dunstone's office explaining the situation and ask for written confirmation of what is required. That is what I did and I received a letter from then 2 weeks later.

If it is o2 CPW retentions (rather than e2save) email from their website and they reply within a few days with a standard email but it also includes the specific bills to send - worth checking as, for example, bill 4 was the fourth bill (line rental in advance) on my previous deal with then but when I clarified for my current rention deal bill 4 was actually the fifth one received (showing that 4 had been paid, if you see what I mean). Not saying this will apply in your case, therefore check. The annoying thing is that when I get to the end of the deal I effectively have to wait for bill 13 (showing bill 12 has been paid) which causes some confusion in getting my PAC/negotiating another deal, as I don't want to pay for 13 months on this deal!

CPW customer services are fine. I never got a welcome pack either despite several phone calls and promises. But you dont actually need one. Just call them and they will tell you which bills to send. They do try and help, but are a bit useless at actually raising the cheques.

I have had to call them regarding everyone on my last 3 chequebacks (got three different contracts). They only seem to issue the cheques after pestering them. But they do pay out and dont argue with you like e2save.
