Hi Guys!
Am starting this a little earlier than usual as my OH is downstairs and Im in bed watching boring TV:D ....this week we are having:
Thursday: Sausage Cassarole & Baked Spud
Friday: Pizza & Salad
Saturday: Steak, Oven Chips, Corn On Cob & Garlic Bread
Sunday: At friends for dinner
Monday: Chops, Mash & Veg
Tuesday: Fish, Roasties & Veg
Wednesday: Chicken Stir Fry & Noodles
Thursday: Egg, Chips and Beans (bread and butter)
We have all the main meal foods in but will need top ups of fresh fruit and veg, although I have some frozen and tinned that needs using. Will also need a few fridge bits.
OH is doing a list of everything we have in the freezer, then I will know for sure what we have in for future mealplans.
Breakfasts will be things such as: Apple or OJ, cereal, toast, porridge or something on toast or bacon sarnie etc
Lunches: left-overs, baked spuds with tuna or cheese/coleslaw, sarnies or soup
So, what are you all having?
Have a good one.

Morning all
Don't worry about your meal plan being like last week Outrageous_Monkey.. I have some things that turn up nearly every week as they are faves and we would only sulk if they weren't there:D
this week our meal plan looks like this... in no particular order- tonight is :- -chicken n leek cobbler with green beans and cabbage -leftover roast and green beans from garden
- corned beef hash n dumplings
- gyros fajjitas -hm wraps -
- potato and onion layer with HM bread
- pasta bake -using roasted veggies I froze from the garden
- corned beef hash pie -using other half of no.2 up
- roast chicken dinner with roasties, HM stuffing, carrots, cabbage, beans n peas
which will save even more money :j I have had it 9 days and I still haven't had to put the oven on....
Hubbies lunches are HM soups and HM bread, I will have anything leftover from the night before
Im working my way through the fridge, freezers and cupboards and half way through my month and I have only spent €5.48 :T
Hubby loves gyros.. but a takeaway ones cost us €15 -which we object to.. we have found a frozen meat that I do with roasted onions n peppers in Hm tortilas with tzatziki -and its much nicer too. the meat costs €2.49 and does us two meals each :T .... and hubby can have it every week this way-6 -8 -3 -1.5 -2.5 -3 -1.5-3.50 -
