Hi, my wonderful son (!) has just decorated our cream walls with thick red crayon. I have tried everything to get it off, but am left with a pink, blurred swirly mess now. Short of repainting the whole room, does anyone please have a tip on how I might get his artwork off?
Thanks in advance,
Penny

You could try baby wipes, or a rubber, but i think you may have to re paint!!!!0

Ty for that - trying to avoid painting and have tried the baby wipes, which are usually good for everything! Luckily still have some paint left, but no doubt son will get covered in it too!
Thanks again

I've never tried it but I saw those foam blocks in Wilkinsons today that are supposed to remove scuff marks from walls. Can't remember what they were called but I remember them being advertised on TV a while ago. Might be worth a try before you get your roller out!!0

I agree - try them. JML do them called Magic Eraser (£3.99 in Boots) or I got some in Aldi (Eraser Sponge Pads - think they were £2 or £3 for 6 blocks)
I have removed crayon off paintwork and scuff marks off doors that did not respond to anything else.
They are also great for cleaning my leather sofa!!It's easier to get forgiveness than to ask permission0 -
Pennyuk try any white toothpaste on a cloth - not a J cloth something like muslin with a little abrasiveness. Has been a lifesaver for me on many occasion with my little artists!0

Not sure what you've tried but I normally fall back on fairy liquid or nail varnish remover (always test in an insconpicious place of course)Am not witty enough to put something cool and informative here:o0

Thanks all v much. So far have tried bleach (!), kitchen cleaner, WD40, wipes and next will be the hair spray... until I give up and purchase some of the magic stuff mentioned.
Thanks again all
