I know tiscali get a bad press sometimes, but I've been with them for years and not had a problem, even to the extent that now they've LLU'd my exchange I'm swapping my line to them as well....we'll see what happens...
...and no, I'm not affiliated to them in any shape, way or form, just being honest about the service I've had from them..........Gettin' There, Wherever There is......
I have a dodgy "i" key, so ignore spelling errors due to "i" issues, ...I blame Apple0 -
just wait till you go llu then you will have problems0

same as me, i have been paying tiscali for line rental and upped my line to 8MB altho my line can only had 4mb going by the website. They have been taking my money, i now get a bill from post office my old supplier, for calls and line rental, calls which were meant to be free on tiscali.
To top it all, my speed went up from 2.1mb as i was getting previously to 3.0mb, but that was for about 2 weeks, then has dropped to 2.3mb consistently.
Im thinking of moving to o2 as im a mobile phone customer, but how do i sort this.0 -

get in contact with them.
I think Tiscali may be having issues with Bt and the Po?
just a thought....
I am having terrible trouble with "Tiscali and BT- but do pay your PO bill because otherwise you will get credit blacklisted and it will go to a debt collection agency. Also they might not transfer you and will "tag" the line if you don't pay up.....
It is an utter nightmare.0 -
veronica46 i have sent you a private message to resolve your issues0

I'm a Tiscali customer too and to be honest find the service pretty good, no real issues, I found their forum support really useful, I think maybe you could try there, I know it's manned everyday as I got a reasonably fast response.
Good luck0 -
Innocent questions....
You are new- do you work for Tiscali?
Are the Tiscali forums unmoderated?-
Hmmmm.
I await a response from Tiscali- I have written as well as phoned many times. Customer service managers are pleasant enough- I am just displeased with their products and promises as if that is not enough!. My broadband breaks up, the Tv pic is often non-existent, and I have been charged by BT for line rental because Tiscali have not transferred it to their "free' service despite the fact that they previously assured me on numerous occasions that they had transferred it- then they tried to blame BT.
Their welcome pack did not tell me I needed an engineer so I had to work that out for myself, that I needed to change modem and digibox etc
. I am very unhappy that one gets charged for technical support 0845 once on their call service and that includes Tiscali and this adds up when you get passed from department to department with numerous problems in reception and service.
They should make their own number free for their customers. Not good, not good at all.
Also you do not get the promised fast speed broadband if your system is not up to it- they do not warn you of this.
If Tiscali come up trumps and sort all this out for me I will be sure to tell everyone here of their success..........0 -
I would agree, if you go to www.tiscali.co.uk, and enter the forum, these are monitored and we can pull your customer information from it and resolve your issues.0

As I said if Tiscali sort this out for me then i will tell this forum.0
