Has anybody tried one of these? I saw them in a catalogue recently but you can also get them online from www.dustbag.co.uk for £!4.99. Is the hose a universal fitting does anybody know? I only have a small size tumble dryer.

I used to use one and it worked fine."It was not my intention to do this in front of you. For that, I'm sorry. But you can take my word for it, your mother had it comin'."

I baught one of those boxes a few years ago and i thaught they were total rubbish. They come with two removable inner boxes you have to fill with water and freeze,(such a pain) so that when the hot heat hits the cold ice it turns to water.I still had to open doors and windows when i was using the box otherwise my doors and walls were soaked, not just damp feeling but drenched, just like they would be if i was taking a hot bath with no window open.Wasnt very impressed at all but others might have had a better experience than i did.

Got it from Argos, and yes the hose was standard size.
Must say worked fime for me - but I do prefer venting it through a hose through the window / cat flap / door etc."It was not my intention to do this in front of you. For that, I'm sorry. But you can take my word for it, your mother had it comin'."

I bought my condenser box off ebay, mine is also the one that you half fill with water and empty after each use. It works fine and is very easy. I've just looked on ebay and found similar one on there- much less than £14.99 too! Have a look at item number 270181130659.0

Hi everyone. :hello:
I have a question about these Tumble Dryer Condenser boxes.
Will these boxes work with a portable Air Conditioning unit ?
I would have thought that it wouldn`t be any different to a Tumble Dryer.
Anyone answer ?
Thanks0
