remote control interactive dalek tesco's £20 (merged)

I went into Tesco's yeading yesterday to look at the dvd players. A lady was at a till with a remote control interative dalek. my son is mad on Doctor who. so I asked where she found it. It was the last one on the shelf but someone was getting her 2 more. I made my husband wait with her and fortunatly he got the last one. The price £19.97. In the catalogue £39.99 on ebay well a lot more. I am so chuffed about this find. I'm sure there are quite a few little boys out there (and big ones) who would love this for christmas. so grab it while you can. good luck.

You are right... they are def on the shelf for £19.97.... none in stock at my local store tho... gonna go back everyday in the hope of getting one really soon.... Thanks xxx

Just tried phoning the stores near to me and they haven't heard of them or had any information on the screen. Hopefully they will become available soon.

In a local 'Bits and Bobs' shop Saturday, I saw a Tardis money box. I loved it, but couldn't carry it with all the shopping I had already. They were a good size and only £5.99...............I think!
Will have a look this week for sure. So keep your eyes peeled in local shops..........

you've got to watch thou as there's different kinds of rc daleks and some are last years or the years before models, this years new dalek model is gold and the cheapest i've seen them is £35, they are sold out on most sites....
if your buying for a die hard dr who fan then they'll want the new dalek (gold one)

Can anyone confirm if the Tesco one is the new gold one? Seems most of the Dr Who range at Tesco is the new range in the red boxes etc... but I have not been able to get the RC dalek yet and have not seen it. The shelf def says £19.97 so I am keeping my fingers crossed it is the new gold one and that I am able to get my hands on one very soon.

It's definatly the new gold one. it's in the tesco's christmas gift guide priced at £39.97
