TEN months and counting...

Options
OK, I’ve decided to join the ranks and start my own thread… won’t be too exciting but feel free to pop in and offer advice – if I look like spending money on something unnecessary please stop me as I’m determined that by this time next year I’ll be DF. It would be nice to be able to shave a few more months off though as there’s a bit of a big birthday next year and it would be nice to start the next decade DF.

I’m not going to post my SOA as I’ve cut as much as I possibly can (except the gym) and have moved fuel suppliers too (through quidco of course). I’m hoping that by posting here I resist all impulses to spend.:o

Background - I live with my DS in a flat that I hate and one of my main reasons for getting DF is so we can move. I could move right now and rent somewhere, pay my debts off and put some money in the bank but for some reason that doesn’t seem to appeal, I think it’s because I feel I should suffer for a while in order to teach myself a lesson.

Anyhow just looking forward to pay day now so I can batter a bit more off those numbers…

And it is addictive :D but very very helpful to confess ALL on your diary. If you know you're going to have to confess it can keep you on the straight and narrow -or is that just me? :o

Making yourself suffer for what you've done is a mistake. It breeds resentment.

And you have DS to think about too.

I'm not exactly suffering apart from the spiders! Just would be more comfortable elsewhere. I think DS would suffer if I rented though as I'd be paranoid about him wrecking the place and not getting my deposit back! He's happy here, not as much of a snob as his mum...:o yes, I know I contradict myself totally on this all the time - can't make my mind up. Hopefully I'll procrastinate until the debt is paid!:rotfl:

P.S. DS told me there was a beetle in his room earlier (I've been digging up the garden and disturbed everything) and it crawled up his hand. I asked why he didn't shout me and he said he'd just put it out of the window! can't believe he's mine - there would have been shrieking had it been me!
