Spend £30 in-store at Tesco and get free Tetley Tea & choc chip cookies

Today tesco are giving away tetley tea and cookies when you spend 30 pounds or more in store excludes top ups tho

Official MoneySavingExpert.com Insert:

Nice spot! 252 Tesco stores are giving away a free (standard size) packet of both Maryland chocolate chip cookies and Tetley Tea when you spend £30+ in-store. Unfortunately there's no way of specifically knowing which stores these include, but it's likely to be the bigger branches.

The promotion started on Monday 21 July and is ongoing until the tea and biccies run out, so if you're popping to Tesco in the next few days keep your eyes peeled to claim the freebies. Find your nearest Tesco.

If you know a store that's participating, please post the details below so other MoneySavers can benefit too.

Many thanks to MoneySaver jamespir for the top spot. Although he was lucky enough to get his tea and biscuits with a £20 spend, I'm afraid Tesco has confirmed the minimum amount is £30.

£30 spend in Weston Favell this morning (Northampton). Had a large pallet of Tetley Tea bags and Maryland cookies (i think) at the front of store, and an employee handing out leaflets to everyone (what a waste of money - both paper and employee time!!).

    hi all,
this offer is only available in price sensitive stores, which is difficult to know whether your local Tesco is a price sensitive store or not!!

to my knowledge the offer is available when you spend £30+
    thanks

    Hi

got this one today at Alfreton, Derbyshire with a £30 spend. Also used local voucher given out with the free papers (I think) because the store has been upgraded and got £10 off, I then used a £3 off coupon sent as a clubcard mailing. To top it all got 2 summer dresses for my daugther that were £9, reduced to £4.50 and then down to £2.50 (for two!!). Then received a 5p off a litre of petrol/diesel. I've already signed up for the asda credit card so get 2p off a litre automatically and asda fuel is cheaper than Tesco's near to me so we'll be giving this voucher to my son for him to use as its the nearest petrol station to his work.

All in all a good shop. We normally alternate between asda, tescos, Netto, Home Bargains and Farmfoods to get the best bargains but without running ragged in search of a bargain.

Felt like a real moneysaving expert!

:( Why not just give the money off?
What about diabetics etc who cannot or do not use tetley tea and maryland cookies. Typical supermarkets assuming consumers only want "freebies"
