its just that when you read about it happening to other people it doesn't seem so bad. i was really embarrassed, there were lots of people watching including 3 supervisers! i was at the checkout for about 1/2 an hour- i couldn't wait to get out.

    i'm possibly over-reacting (no-one's died)

i had a couple of months back, when r+r was rife they refused my r+r, i refused point blank to shop there, so took entire trolley to cs and had 100 pounds of shopping refunded!! Also had a coupon shop scrutinised and was not even allowed to use coupons for things i had bought (nappies/ribena etc) only accepted one coupon on 60 of clothes, i didn't make a fuss just returned all clothes and tried again................100 pounds of shopping for a fiver the following week, just look for fresh meat :rotfl:
coupon over here, coupon over there, every crack filled with coupons even down there
    (meaning under the buggy lol):D

I am glad we are not allowed to swap vouchers on here as I did not know that we were not supposed to!!

I learned the hard way - I kept my side of the deal but unfortunately never recieved any vouchers in return

I had my first refusal of coupons today.

Must be catching - I had my first knock back today on a H&B shop - got £16ish worth of goods, had my coupons already sorted and picked what I thought was a good male cashier. Got to the front and asked him if I could use my tesco coupons (which I held up the pile). He hesitated, but then said ok. However, once he'd scanned about 3, he then said he had to check with a supervisor, as he'd "been told off" for taking too many coupons.

I ended up getting them to cancel the items and just took the coupons back. In retrospect, I probably should have just said to the lad take what you're comfortable with when he hesitated. It's probably a good idea to have in your mind what you would do in that situation as well, so you can be on the front foot when it does happen to you rather than be defensive and embarassed!

I just picked the wrong guy. I'd gone to one till with another male cashier and then changed my mind as this one "looked" a better bet. Some you win, some you lose.

definately. wish i had just left it when the SA said she was unsure. (although then i would have had to get out my credit card to pay) instead i said something like 'usually they just give me back any that dont scan, i dont usually have a problem...bla bla bla. So she then called for a supervisor and it went wrong from there. chances are it will have been mentioned in one of their meetings....sorry guys

I seem to be having problems getting the till to accept more than 2 x 50 points (H&B) in any one transaction no matter how much I spend.

With the So Beautiful 50 points I could hand over 1 for every £2 I spent but with the H & B ones the till beeps after 2.

Is anyone else having the same problem?
Ive used more than 2 and had no problems

Good idea. I did this with all the free Bodyform I got from Boots last year!

I shall carry on collecting till the offers end, then give them a call.

    Sarah

Ah yes good old Bodyform..... enough to last me until the menopause! All the rest also found a good home. It's a great way to keep the tesco addiction going while spreading good fortune around.

I still have some £1.25 quit it beauty and toiletry vouchers
    i have £2.50, & £1 peachy vouchers
I havel £2 off and £8 spend off toiletries or beauty.

I am looking for the best combination as i want to get some more stuff to give to charity. I've got tons of bubble bath, shower gel, shampoo, toothpaste etc. Would love to get handwash and especially toothbrushes - can anyone suggest the best combination please?
