The Kirkland Coffee beans and ground coffee is Starbucks if you check the packing but less than half the cost so great value.

It's roasted by Starbucks, but I don't think it's the same blend as Starbucks.......... the Decaff is a very nice coffee though.

Is there any way of finding current Costco prices without having to visit? I'm interested in a price for a Sony KDL32W5500.

Yes, just call them. The reception desk staff are normally very helpful.

In our local one unless you are a member they won't tell you the price of an item.

I have rung Bristol and Reading several times to check stock or prices and have never once been asked. I guess it's a case of YMMV. Of course, next time I ring I will be asked :D

I rang before we re-signed up to ask the price of the Actifry and they wouldn't tell me - I had to give my name and address and they said your membership has lapsed we can't tell you. Mind our store is bit an*l, when we re-signed we had to provide utility bills again and they wouldn't accept Sky even though our phone is Sky and it states phone bills on the board behind them!

I've had bad experiences with 2 electrical products which I've purchased while on special offer - both have failed within months, and when I've asked for replacements they have been supersceded by a different model, so all I can get is my money back.

This makes me wonder if Costco reduce the price of problematic stock to clear the shelves...........

Just because it is cheap and possibly carries a well known brand name, that does not mean it isn't cheap Chinese rubbish.
If it is a bit technical, you still have to do your own research on forums and with Which? etc.
Failing manufacturers will sell their brand name in the hope of having enough money for their directors' pensions.

Would you buy one of these?

I'm a big Costco fan, especially for their meat which is always high quality. Last time I bought minced turkey for the first time - I can't remember how much it was exactly but it was very reasonable for a big pack. I split it in two and made meat balls with one portion and burgers with the rest. They were lovely and healthier than beef.
