i cant wait to start this challenge!!
probably because of the fact that my purse is for once full to the brimm of a load of silver coins i cant even remem how i got sooo many??!! lookin foward to saturday. :j and am also goin to go looking for a car as i spend far too much money on taxis and public transport. and i am fed up with waiting around like today i called a taxi said it would be 10 mins...15mins later i ring back they say yeah its jus round the corner its a vauxhall or woteva. BUT that was a complete lie!! another 15mins later a completely diff car turns up and then i have to give them £7.50 of my money!! its annoying when this sort of thing happens everyday! Due to budget cuts the light at the end of the tunnel will be switched off.

I want to join too - I have a coppers pot, but I always forget to add to it until there's no room left in my purse for anything else! I'll try and turn this into a new habbit!
My aim will be to buy ALL of my christmas presents with whatever is in the pot. Anything left over? I'll spend the year thinking of something!0 -

Count me in and I'll aim for £100

Now I'm off to make a papier mache (sp?) pig pot out of a balloon so it sets on time and cannot be opened. Might even have a 'paint the pig' day.I reserve the right not to spend.
The less I spend, the more I can afford.
Frugal living challenge - living on little in 2026 while frugalling towards retirement.0 -
I'll join!
Have one I can open at the moment, which is mainly used for my current project of living on X £ a day and putting what's left over in the piggy. Works nicely as a way of keeping my budget (making me wait a couple of days before buying small non-essentials so I've 'saved up' for it and can take the money from the piggy), but not very good for actual piggy-saving
I'll get a tin one, probably.
Goal: I'll save until it's full and then be pleasantly surprised
