Yes, and who do you work for: CPS?

    :T

What a ridiculous thing to say! No I don’t work for CPS or anyone else connected with parking. I have absolutely no connection with this or any other such case. If you can’t argue your case here without baseless accusations or assumptions then I don’t think you would have much success in a court.

I just can’t see why you think you have some sort of right to park on someone else’s land.

I actually think a ticket of £65 for doing so is very reasonable, if it was my land I’d want you clamped or towed away. If you park on someone else’s land you are also taking a risk that they could do something like slash your tyres, key your car or similar, I wouldn’t condone that but why would you take the risk.

I’ve been driving for 18 years and in that time I’ve had two parking tickets (not private ones) and both of those was because I was careless. It’s really easy to avoid them, simply don’t park where you’re not authorised to.

Like I said when I started reading this thread I was sympathetic to the person who got fined, however they abused the free parking from a shop, got caught and got fined. If it was me I’d be bloody annoyed but I’d pay the pine, learn the lesson and move on. It’s the attitude of people who think it’s ok to park on someone else’s land because it’s only for a few minutes, or the landowner isn’t using it at that moment or it’s really close to the shops that I can’t understand.

Been doing a bit of research over the last few days into our “friends” CPS.
    Their company info is:

    Unincorporated Number: UC5497002
Registered Office: PO Box 4487, Wolverhampton, West Midlands, WV1 9BP
    Company Status: Unincorporated

After a few phone calls found out that PO Box 4487 is Madame Clarke’s 4-5 King Street, Wolverhampton. West Midlands. WV1 1ST. A greasy spoon cafe!. What a nice place to do business from!
Days of research? A phone call to the Royal Mail would have revealed the office address behind the PO Box address - and then a quick Google of the address would reveal the cafe you mention - and if you had just made a phone call to CPS (which I have just done) you would have found out that they own the building and work from the offices above the cafe.

As a side point, I've just had a quick look at the website for this "greasy spoon" cafe and it looks like a very nice coffee shop. This is a perfect example of your misleading, absurd and nonsensical exaggerations in this forum.

But most serious of all, as the litigant (CPS) is unincorporated and therefore not a legal entity, it can’t sue except in the names of its principals. So they are perjuring themselves to the court claiming to have a right to bring the action.

CPS tell me they are a partnership. I've just called the County Court helpline and they say that a partnership (and even a sole trader) is classed as an 'organisation' for the purposes of making a claim via the County Court bulk processing centre.

One last thing. Has anybody who has visited their site noticed the big mistake with this picture?

    warden.jpg

Look behind to the left on the railing. Notice the disabled sign? The area where this CPS warden is ticketing is already enforced by the RTA! They must have taken the picture quickly, grabbed the sign and done a runner.

CPS say this is a private estate in London with reserved disabled spaces - nothing to do with the RTA at all.

Again, why don't you just check out the facts for yourself before making unfounded and silly claims.

No-one owes land. Did they create the land, no they did not. I would say if you look in the local books that they may say something like this land would remain the publics land and no one person can claim it. Failing that the goverment owns the land, and I hope that the fee is highly taxed.

This isn't a communist or Georgist state, private ownership of land is legal and legitimate in this country and most countries.

I do believe that this planet was not created for the benifit of people owning land. This would mean that anyone can claim to own anything in this universe.

Well you certainly seem to live on another planet even if you don't own it.

Since when has your personal philosophy on private property changed the law? Or does the law not apply to you? I suppose you therefore don't own anything and wouldn't mind if anything in your possession was taken.

I'm posting on a thread I've already posted on (and subscribed to) to wholeheartedly disagree with something posted. In fact I put off replying for longer than usual because it's you. But otherwise I'd have posted exactly the same thing no matter what but now considering I know how rude and horrible a poster you are I'd have been put off replying at all in hindsight.

I just stated that no one owns land, they can as overall the Queen owns it. Plus the fact that noone created Earth so noone can claim any claim on land.

You are the horrible postered that just started on me because I stated that Dell were RACIST, which is true, if you cant understand that then you should just leave MSE.com for the better of the world.
