as woudl like to fly out for this ... this year or next with 3 year old. thanks

    HI Deals

it's not that price any more, for a family of 4 staying a week in the log cabins is about £1700 and then goes dramatically up for xmas and new year (at least £500 more), this does not include any activities, which can be expensive, however, going for a week and doing the activities when you get there works out far better calue for money than teh 3 day trips, which can be very expensive

We are going to lapland this xmas, it's a one off special as my daughter is still of the age where she believes in santa but come the following year I think that she won't.

personally I would wait for your daughter to be a bit older, nothing to do with the cold or anything like that but more to do with the memory and the amount of activities she can do, I would wait until she is about 6, then she can do the ski school too

check out ingrams if you want to look into it more
  • Hadn't heard about LaplandUK so thanks for the heads up - will deffo look into it as I was thinking of taking my DD6 to 'proper' Lapland, but it is pretty dear for the time you spend there - especially if your flight gets delayed like happened to some poor people last year

They had about 2 hours in Lapland in the end!

Just for the record poe.tuesday - was it 'inghams' you travelled with and not ingrams? I'm not being picky :) I just recall that Inghams do Ski hols that's all and hadn't heard of Ingrams. Just in case anyone was googling it or anything :)

Of course please tell me if I'm wrong :D

We're dithering about going to this. What I dislike about the proper Lapland trips are the super-early flights and everything crammed into a day or two.

I'd be more tempted to go to LaplandUK if they provided a LaplandUK Dads creche with pole dancing laydeez!:D

  • Ditto - we are going this Tuesday, so I'll post back asap after I return - just praying the car doesn't let us down as we are travelling all the way to Kent from Derby and back in the one day!

Driving licence and credit card packed in case of a need for urgent car hire! :D
