    Hello,
I wonder if I can get some info from other Roboform users please?

I want to save all my Roboform Passcards, Log Ins and Identities onto a USB stick so that I have a back up copy in case I have problems with my laptop.

Please could any users tell me how to do this?
I think I am going to have to do a Reset of IE soon as I am having probs with it so may lose Roboform in the reset.
I'm not very techie so an idiots guide would be most useful! :o
I have Vista Home Premium if that makes any difference.

    Thanks in advance.

does anyone use myoffers.co.uk? I'm a bit confused as to whether I should use it or not - you enter competitions but have to fill out a few questions and if you want, sign up to other web sites. Also offers rewards if you complete enough competions. Good prizes and has some well known web sites involved but possibly lots of spam??

Pop in the Techie Forum Clutterfree, the guys in there are brilliant and just waiting for people like us who don't have a clue. They've helped me out a couple of times and they're really patient.

Insert memory key in USB port.

Look for the green Roboform icon at right hand of your taskbar.
    Left click and choose Options
    User data from left-hand menu.
    Choose back up
You need to choose Memory stick (or similar) to save.

Where the screen shows list of folders, you will probably need to select Computer, then select memory stick.

I regularly save my Roboform data each month (to a memory stick) to keep it up to date. Once you have started to 'back up' the system cancels data within Roboform and replaces with current data.

    Good luck
  • i'm struggling again with tracking the comps i've entered. As I didn't understand it, I cracked on and entered loads of comps, I feel like I have caught up now and really want to thanks the hundreds of amazing people who post comp here as they put so much work it! can some explain how i can see what comps I have entered without individually checking if i thanked them or not i.e someone said about being able to see a tick on the front page.

p.s. a bit of encouragement for everyone, whether you are new like me to comping or old hat. if the worse happens and you win nothing (highly unlikely over time) please please remember every second you spend entering comps you are not spending money, surely the greatest bit of moneysaving you can do!

I think you've done the right thing FE. I hope they replace your lost prize as a good will gesture and maybe the police might be able to sort the theft out. Did someone actually sign for the parcel too?

Yes, someone signed for it; I explained that in the email I sent them (see above); he was stupid enough to use his real name and signature...

If they refuse to cooperate, should I just report it to the complaints body as never received? It's not a lie...and I'd then be able to explain everything; as I say, I do have a police reference number and the details of the PC who helped me. I hope they do press charges as this little scrote has been stealing from me all year.

Looks a good email to me FE, but I wonder if you should also contact/info the UPS company as I would think its going to end up with them at fault.

But then again if its like Ebay, then possibly its down to the sender to contact them???

UPS said that the sender had given them permission for anyone else to sign it if I wasn't there. I want my prize replaced and I'd dearly love UPS or the PR company to prosecute the thief as he deserves it; he's a habitual drug addict and heavy drinker, trouble maker and thief.

FE, only just read your post as I don't usually read this thread.
    Hope you get your prize.
It wasn't your Nokia was it?
If so, couldn't the company block it so it is no use to him?

  • No, I am almost certain it was the Grand Marnier cocktail set I won from Now magazine. It definitely wasn't the Nokia phone, and I also know that the Daily Mail wish list prizes are sent Special Delivery (Royal Mail) as I've already had some of the prizes; they sent me £130 Christian Dior sunnies that way so I am sure my £3.99 jar of Marmite and £65 bikini for example will come the same way.
