I broke my nose, wa

In my attept to save money I bought a bike. Yesterday. cycled to work today. attempted to cycle home from work. Broke my nose. I am sitting here with bleeding nose (it's getting better now), a shrek-like bruise which no doubt will turn blue by tomorrow, and I had to leave my bike in the city and get a cab home as was bleeding severely, that cost £20.
By the way, the title wants to say "I broke my nose, wasted £20 and am on the phone to NHS now" but for some reason my laptop decided to live its own life.
Anyone got any tips how to reduce nosebleeding and how to deal with broken nose and also, how to deal with the loss of this £20 as the only reason that I am not crying my eyes out is that it would make my nose hurt more...

didnt see doctor, but i might have to as it doesnt stop bleeding. i came online to see nhs website and their phone line is busy...Total debt £3625.07.

i would advise not to tip your head back and to use a old towel (save you on using all the loo roll up
)

Please get yourself to A&E honey, when ever you have a facial injury you should be seen, if you've fallen off a bike hard enough to break your nose you could have other things going on too which might need checking out, like damage to your neck etc. If nothing else you should make sure it'll heal straight with no bone fragments blocking your airway.
