Free £25 Grand National Bet. You bet £25 and get £25 back

Well I took the the advice from Martin as 'read' but I should have read the T&Cs. You have to match the bet with at least the same amount or more. So, essentially it's not as per what Martin said, bet £25 and get it back the next day. This is the second time I've fallen for something like this, did the same last year on PaddyPower, I didn't get my free bet due to some rule/condition in the T&Cs, but I trusted Martin on what he said. That was pretty stupid. Now, I've loaded up my £25, luckily I've not placed my bet, but I can't work out how to get my money transfered back onto my card. The transfer fund but is greyed out, and of course, no contact numbers to speak of.

Martin, I thought you checked out the T&Cs as you're the expert, obviously not! BAD ADVICE!

But surely it is you that is the stupid one?
If Martin told you to jump off a bridge, would you do so without checking out the fall first?Gone ... or have I?0 -
I got caught out once by not reading the T&C's, but I didn't blame anyone else but myself for being stupid enough not to read them.:rolleyes:2008 won £5119.04 :j
2009 won so far £0:rotfl:
All together now..........
Always look on the bright side of life       :whistle:0 -
We'll I've just done this, had several windows open so I could read what I was meant to do as I was going along and if I have made a mistake then I only have myself to blame.
Hope St John's Castle does its stuff today0 -

You are not only a D!ckhead for not reading the T&C's but also because you do NOT use the "Transfer" button to get money out of the account.
Look at the TOP Left Hand Corner of the Betfair page for "My Account"
Click on that and in the Left Hand side of the page clcik on the "Withdraw funds from Betfair"
How did I find this out? By READING the "Help" menu just to the right of "My Account"
Some people shouldn't be allowed out never mind on the Internet!0 -
So you almost made a mistake last year because you failed to read the T and Cs, and you almost did the same this year, am I the only one who can see a pattern developing here?I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. I'm really confused as to what the OP says is a problem? The way I understood it is you bet £25 worth of bets on the Grand National and then Betfair will give you back £25 within 24 hours of the event? Have I missed something? One day I might be more organised...........
GC: £200
Slinkies target 2018 - another 70lb off (half way to what the NHS says) so far 25lb0 -
By my reading of the OP their mistake is not actually betting so therefore they won't be refunded the £25 as they didn't follow Martin's post which did indeed tell them to actually place a bet!0
