How do I add more than three lines to my signature? And how do I type a double space?

Now a month since the new signature rules were introduced and they're still not working properly, are MSE still looking into this?
As for the double space, I'm not talking about the space between lines, but the space between characters.I've given up trying to get my signature to work with the new rules, if nobody knows what the rules are what hope do we have?0 -

What do you mean by not working?
You have already used 294 characters! Blue text on this forum usually signifies hyperlinks, so click on them!..:wall:0 -

There's nothing wrong with the number of characters, just the number of lines, supposedly your allowed 5, but it won't let me have more than 3.
By the way, what happened to your first post? The one I quoted in post 7.I've given up trying to get my signature to work with the new rules, if nobody knows what the rules are what hope do we have?0 -

So have you tried five lines with less characters per line? Your first line contains 136 characters. You obviously can't have 136 x 5 = 680 characters in your sig!

Some jobsworth removed it, I don't know way as I was trying to help. Blue text on this forum usually signifies hyperlinks, so click on them!..:wall:0 -
I've tried everything, just can't get more than 3 lines no matter what.
I presume your second comment about your first post being helpful was sarcastic as it was about the least helpful post I've seen.I've given up trying to get my signature to work with the new rules, if nobody knows what the rules are what hope do we have?0 -

Yes there is. You obviously do not understand what a character is or can't count.

Because you have reached the permitted limit for characters! Have you ever wondered why you are the only one winging about this simple rule change, out of the hundreds of thousands of registered forum users?
By the way, what happened to your first post? The one I quoted in post 7.
You mean the post that obviously offended you, that you had removed but had partially quoted in post #7. That was clever of you wasn't it. The removed post may have been helpful to other readers, even if you could not comprehend the information given!

I'm trying to save my signature. I currently have it set at 1 point font, and get the message:BB code size value is too big.
Can anyone tell me what this means and how to get round it?
Thanks.:rudolf: Sheep, pigs, hens and bees on our Teesdale smallholding :rudolf:0 -

Even if I reduce the number of characters it still doesn't work.

But, I'm not the only one reporting bugs with the new rules, there are lots of people having problems if you look through this section and even other people in this thread.

Not too sure what you are insinuating here, I haven't reported any posts, why would I ask where it had gone if I had reported it? I quoted the whole post and if the only useful comment you had was about the useless content of my signature, maybe you should look at your own before you start preaching to others.

I'm not quite sure why you've decided to go on a rampage against me, I've only been asking for advice and you seem to think that I shouldn't be asking for advice on a forum. So far you seem to have contributed nothing but wise remarks and insults to this thread and I'm not sure why, it seems you have a vendetta against me. Maybe you've got the wrong person as I can't think of why I would have !!!!ed anyone off as much as you seem to be or maybe you just need to go on an anger management course if someone asking a question on a forum gets you this riled up.
