Try doing the same thing on a weekend with SA's who are obviously saturday staff - look for a young lad and stick a few always towels or something similar in the basket, they just want to serve you and get you out of the way :p

Rule no1 is always - don't pay at the No7 counter.

I hope you have better luck next time!

:rotfl: :rotfl: Loved this. Thank you :rotfl: :rotfl:

Thanks hesjane, MiasMommy, sharon59 and wendy_ann1983.
Was hoping to buy a R&M brush but as T&C state, no can do. Will have to find another way to get it cheap:D

I think you will be able to buy a R&M brush, (that's what I want too), last time they did a NO7 R&M etc voucher I bought R&M brushes as they are usually classed as cosmetics. I want the foundation brush which is £11.

Sorry not Boots related at all....but fmhm.....I love your signature line....that is so lovely.

I've been married 28 years this year and you are so right...I found my one special person.....who annoys me;) (but I am sure I annoy him more)

Congrats on the bump.....first one I've read about that's not a virtual baby:T

lol thanks hun, I can't claim ownership to that quote tho - found it on the internet someplace (blush)

i always read about others signing up the the Parenting Club with umm...not-quite-so-real babies(-to-be)

does make me laugh, but i do get feelings that on some level its a lil...ummmm...cheeky.

the PC is the whole reason how I got so hooked onto this thread!!

btw - i got a second lot of PC coupons in the post today - don't know how. it was the welcome pack again!! strange

    Hi Shopping mad.

I'm going to order a Graco pram from boots.com in the next few days. Mum works for boots - i tried using the 10% off on her account and it did work bringing the price down to a very nice sum ;) but will she not get into trouble for using it?

the other codes (found on the parenting club area of the website) wont work with staff discount

    thanks in advance hun

As long as it's delivered to her and appears to be paid for by her - her card details then she won't get in any trouble. They can / do check against who the discount card is registered to etc.

The 10% off nursery products offer code DOES work with staff discount (15% on boots.com) - thats what I used today.... if the site accepts it you can use it. I tried one code and it came up something about it not being allowed with staff discount.

Bear in mind the double points on puschairs and the 10pt per £1 offer at the moment. Works out nice :D
Wins since September 2011: Wedding (Worth £3500) :j Bridesmaids Headpiece (Worth £40) National Wedding Show VIP tickets (Worth £70) £100 Shopping vouchers... :D

tried out the 10% and it does work, the others dont .
I saw the 10 points per pound today and got all excited. we should be buying the pram and a few other baby items in the next few days.

    thanks again for your reply!

  • Today i got lucky, the SA even put through 2 of the highlighter powders, it all depends on the SA.

    Transaction 1

    GWP pink jewellery box Free
    Moisturiser £13
    Highlighter with voucher free

I paid £13 only for that transaction got the highlighter free with the jewellery box.

Transaction 2 - Same SA i got the

    No17 lip palette Free
    Nail varnish
    Foundation
    100 points voucher

ALSO got another magazine, torn the vouchers out...

Transaction 3 *yep third one same SA*

    GWP pink jewellery box Free
    Moisturiser £13
    Highlighter with voucher free

She did say she was putting the 2nd one through discreetly, as she said we are only allowed one transaction of that voucher a day, but i think she might have fancied my boyfriend!

I also rummaged through the reduced items, and got a £6 no7 highlighter with a fancy box, for £3.50.

I also got 2 of the vouchers for the £5 the pink ones, and i also in the jewellery boxes got 4 different type of vouchers, infact my bag is now full of them!

Maybe my last comment about complaining to the big chiefs would be foolish being it would lose these type of goodies for others that can be cheeky and over step the mark on freebies!

But anyplace else, i would complain!

Half Price Baby Expert Range (PC)

How did this work out on your receipt?
Did it half only one or the bogof one as well?
Just someone said today that it would not work with the wipes.
    Thanks

It was me who said it didn't work and it doesn't but when the SA checked she could see no reason why it wouldn't and manually added it, so FREE wipes!

I did consider it but my age might go against me. Maybe I could pass it off as an immaculate conception..... or an immaculate mis-conception :p
