    My total spend for January is £155.00.
    I need to stop putting the spare change in my sealed pot to keep me on budget lol.As i was only £5 over though I am really pleased with myself

    im so glad i havent got them i pay about £1.50 for cheap liquid washing stuff its around 2 litres i think and does good washing gets the kids messes out of thier clothes neway

    January total £266.33, so I was under my £300, and i have filled my freezer on that so i have a head start on February.:j

    So i am really into to this even though this was my first month, so put me down for £200 for February please.:D

    Meant to say i thought i'd put down £250 and then peeked and realised it was £300. Have updated sig now
    My finances are work in progress.

    Hi everyone I have ended the month by spending £390.00 which is over my original budget for january. I tried so hard but will have to try harder next month as there is just no spare money once debts are paid and mortgage etc.
    You have all been so helpful though and given me some great ideas for recipies. Thanks.

    Yayyyy payday was yesterday, going shopping in a wee while

    Total spent for Jan was £198.78 so under budget!!

    Just off to sign up for the Feb challenge! It really makes you think before you buy food!

    Did the shop for the week last night, so final spend for January has come in at £158.99 - well under my £200 budget so I am soooo chuffed! Even managed to get a few lunch boxes for myself out of that, and we slipped one night and had a takeaway :o

    Does make me wonder how our previous monthly food bills came to well over £200, and even a couple of months over £250 - I'm planning better but we haven't noticed too much of a difference in the quality or the amount of food. I can only assume we're not chucking so much away!!

    I'm going to stick with £200 for February as well, just to make sure it wasn't a fluke!

    arghhhhhh im so cross ive somehow got to cut our shopping down from £55 for 5 people 2 cats and a dog i have no idea how to do at all i buy everything asda smart price dont get junk food either arghhhhhhh stupid men with stupid bank charges and stupid smoking habits(never let an ex live with u lol)

    Not a lot to say really. Went to local convenience store for bread. They had a BOGOF on Lucozade, so got a couple of bottles, also some beer (medicinal purposes as well :D)

    JACKS - is that avartar of yours a tiger, a cat or you dressed to kill :rotfl:? Oo'er, standby for a slap :D.
