Thriftlady has become something of an MSE stalwart, and is always ready to dispense knowledge, advice and experience. her threads such as this and the war time experiment capture the essence of old style, whilst offering a challenge and inspiration to fellow Old Stlyers.

i think the post of the month award fould be a fitting way to recognise thriftlady for her ongoing support of the board, through this and many other fantastic and inspirational threads. well done thriftlady :T

I'd like to nominate bdpm2003 for post of the month as well. She must have spent hours and loads of money on mags and shared all the answers with all on the comps forum ~ many of whom have won prize money from her efforts.
