Does anyone else who is seeing this problem have any of the following set up in money manager.
Barclays Bank (UK)
Halifax Banking (UK)
ING Direct (UK)
Intelligent Finance (UK)
Nationwide (UK)
Sainsburys Bank (UK)
I'm wondering if we people with this problem have a common external account that is causing the problem.0 -
I just removed Intelligent Finance (as i dont use them anymore) from my money manager (using the url https://moneymanager.egg.com/Servicing/chooseinst.jsp?action=PROFILEREMOVE) and that did NOT fix the problem. ANyone else dare try removing one or all of thier money manager accounts? let us know
)
Feel like I'm going on a bit now, wont post again until it's fixed.0 -
I have just phoned them again. Phoned last Thursday with a promise of it being back 'in a few days'. Today I got the same procedure. After being taken through the usual stuff like remove temp internet files etc & being taken through the full login & having my security reset I still get 'page cannot be displayed'. They are rebooting the servers again tonight I have been informed so the advice was to try tomorrow!
I use money manager. I can't afford the time to try all the workarounds posted on here but I will be looking at a new money manager provider.
Why haven't these problems found their way to the financial pages of the press yet? Or has it and I've not seen it? It should be made public. The service has been excellent during my 5 years with them but this has a lot to answer for.
Why it happens to some accounts and not others is explained if they use Citrix servers or something similar. If you are lucky enough to have your account on a server they have successfully upgraded then you won't have a problem. I know, I work in IT as a Systems Support Manager and we run Citrix servers. Heads would be rolling if this happened to our manufacturing plants. Beats me how Egg can get away with this.0 -
No joy for me either - I have not been able to access it since Friday. I have phoned twice and they were very open about it saying there is a problem. But haven't been able to tell me when it wll be sorted other than the standard 'in afew days'
Call them and let them know they at least should have a message on the website to let you know there is a known problem.

I don't suppose you have windows live toolbar installed, or any other toolbars?
I had a problem with a link to another account from money manager when I had this toolbar installed.
On the suggestion of Egg's IT dept, got rid of the toolbar and Egg MM works fine.Debbie0 -
I am having trouble logging in to egg money manager at the moment is anybody else having trouble ?
The front page does actually check your password and authenticate you.
When you get the 404 page, I found that if you paste in the URLS, you can get most of the info you require
egg urls
eggmoney

eggcard

May I suggest the URL of the company that provide Egg with EMM - they have their own version where you can optionally store the login data on a USB pen/floppy which can be used anywhere rather than entering/saving it on each PC you'd like to use it on. Additionally, it works when Egg's site is down (except for the Egg entry of course...

Thanks, I was going to ask if anyone knew about that... I don't use my Egg card any more (I suppose I could put the odd payment on it) and was thinking of trying to find an alternative arrangement for accessing my accounts. Being able to store it on a pen drive would be particulalry useful... do you know if you have enter all the infomation over again, or is there a way of transferring it directly from Egg?0
