Just thought of a few more...
Thick tights can be cut in slices and make wonderful non-snag elastics for girls hair. (they loose elasicity after a while but believe me you make an awfull lot out of a pair of tights).
Old toothbrushes are wonderful implements to clean behind the taps or hard to reach little spaces.

Dishwasher as a cooker: (read about this one and it tickled me!
I don't have a dishwasher but this may be useful one day for someone here)
To cook a large fish w/out a fish kettle .... Double wrap the fish (salmon or other large fish) in foil and seal thoroughly. PLace it on the upper rack of an empty dishwasher. Run the main wash at 65C (150F) without the pre-wash or dry. Remove and cool in the foil. Cute, eh!
Funnels: Use your piping bag.
Baking Tray: Use your roasting tin upside down.

Baby bum wipes - these can be used to clean uPVC window frames, and also wipe down the dash and other plastic bits in your car.0

Use the little drawstring bags for washing tablets as little safety bags for delicates/tights etc - stops them getting snagged in the works when you bung them in the washing machine.0
