Mayonaise, not just for salads

Mayonaise is good for removing tar. Spread a small amount into the tar and wipe away.
Rub mayonaise on white water marks on wood panelling or cabinets. Wipe off 12 hours later.
a dab of mayonaise used on a cloth is great for shining leaves of plants too

No Way! Are you joking? Would love to know more uses for mayonnaise - I have an un-opened jar in my cupboard and I dont know what to do with it aside from salads - which is gonna get kinda monotonous as its a BIG jar - someone left it behind after a party, along with a traffic cone (dont ask! - it was in the big bad days of being a student! ). I dont have any problems with tar or water marks at the moment....I've made my debts bite-size too depressing to look at all at once so am handling them one at a time - first up Graduate Loan £1720 paid off! only £280 to go!!!
Money to raise for tuition fees: £3000

You can use mayonnaise to condition your hair. Apply mayo to dry hair, work through thoroughly. Cover with plastic cap, or clingfilm, wrap in warm towel and leave on for 20-30 minutes. Wash as usual. Leaves hair shiny and conditions it also.0

we had FAR worse things to clean up than water marks after that party - trust me!!
Even vinegar wouldnt get rid of some of the stains! (it soon got rid of all the people though!!!!) :rotfl:I've made my debts bite-size too depressing to look at all at once so am handling them one at a time - first up Graduate Loan £1720 paid off! only £280 to go!!!

Mayo is far to good for cleaning with.
Grill some fishfingers (cos we all like to cook healthy..like)
Mash them with a fork into a big dollop of mayo.
Put fishfinger/mayo mash between two slices of pappy white bread.

Oh definitely!!!! ... can't beat fish finger sarnies, but I cheat and zap them in the microwave, takes 2-3 mins to do 4, turning them half-way and putting the middle ones to the outside"An Ye Harm None, Do What Ye Will"
