I just received this e-mail from egg.com
Now you've got an Egg Card, you're entitled to all sorts of special offers and savings. Our insurance products already offer fantastic value but, as an Egg Card customer, you now get even more.
Home insurance
Get 10% off if you take out both buildings and contents insurance, 10% off if you pay with your Egg Card, and a further 5% off if you buy online. That's not all, we'll throw in European family annual travel insurance worth £80 absolutely free when you buy online too.
I got a really good quote from them and have taken them up on the offer.

There are a few good Egg Insurance offers for new or existing Egg members, when using their cards etc. These informative threads don't tend to attract replies, therefore I have merged them into one thread and provided a quick link, so that they don't get lost down the pages.
