Its not a glitch, but the fact is you can make applications within the 90day period everyone is quoting?
When I applied mine referred, I called up and was asked had I recently made an application as the system is showing duplicate app. I advised the lady that I had recently applied for the Silver card and was accepted. She popped me on hold and then said 'Congratulations your application has been approved and credit limit is £5000':eek::eek:Bank Accounts - Barlcays Premier[/B] - £1000 o/d, HSBC - £200 o/d- First Direct - £500

I wouldnt understand why as none of us on here are intending to default, if anything we are more likely to pay than others!Bank Accounts - Barlcays Premier[/B] - £1000 o/d, HSBC - £200 o/d- First Direct - £500

There is no such thing as the bridge for the gap between subprime and mainstream...it is either black (subprime)or white(prime).
Some lenders search back 3 years, some more. There is no way knowing how the system works and luck does play its part for some people.
There are few here who got old defaults being accepted for mainstream bank credit card.
As stated above its either prime or not.
This card is a prime card however they appear to have 'relaxed' the criteria recentlyBank Accounts - Barlcays Premier[/B] - £1000 o/d, HSBC - £200 o/d- First Direct - £500

Hi everyone
Hubby and I both have Silvermastercards with £2k limit each. I have mine about 4 months him about 2 months.
We have between us about 16 defaults all dated May 05 , which is date we entered IVA. We finished IVA in May 2008. I would add that out credit files do not mention anywhere about IVA just defaults and all now paid. We also have other credit cards, mortgage etc
We have both been turned down for Flybe cards in the past and again last week lol We got the " apply for Vanquis" letter yesterday.
It seems as others have said sygma will accept any Tom !!!!!! or Harry lol
You have alot to loose should you default the card, I assume they can take your house from you?Bank Accounts - Barlcays Premier[/B] - £1000 o/d, HSBC - £200 o/d- First Direct - £500
