"To lose one parent may be regarded as a misfortune; to lose both looks like carelessness."

Just replace 'parent' with bank account / credit card.0 -
I felt compelled to respond to this crap as I know it pisses people off!
For those of you moaning that you now have to pay higher interest rates, you should instead be thanking those of us who have been keeping them low all this time for you by the banks taking our money unlawfully.
All this displays is your selfish attitude that you don't care that people are being financially crippled due to excessive unlawful charges.
Me? I was a !!!!!! with my account so you can say what you like about me. It's those people who live on the borderline through no fault of their own. Something goes wrong, perhaps a family emergency and they need to take £20 out of there account which means they go overdrawn. They get slapped with a £30 fee for going O/D and then another £30 when the next DD comes out.
Now what if that family break even every month on the bare minimum. They are now £60 down. So once they have been paid the next month perhaps 2 direct debits bounce. Thats another £90 in fees. They are now £150 down in 2 months. Do that for a while and peoples lifes can and do get destroyed.
So take your self righteous, ignorant, small minded heads out of the sand for once in your pathetic life and open your eyes to the real world. Believe it or not there is more to it than a 3% increase in credit card fees.
You sad sad people. I actually do pity anyone with this mindset. I hope one day you manage to escape from your selfish little bubble and accept that this world doesn't actually revolve around yourselves!
Thank you and good night!0 -

Why do the government allow it to happen though? I understand everyone has different circumstances. People should not live beyond their means though as a general rule. I know it's hard. i got a student loan and overdraft to pay but Credit Cards are the devils tool.0
