before I forget, SK can u help me with a shepherds pie I want to test out on DH tomorrow. Mum told me the stuff to buy but now she's on holiday and I can't remember how to make it. Thanks love x
Yay you got the reference:T:T I love Queen...was forced to listen to it as a child:D:D:D
Shepherds Pie is easy...fry it all up, drain off the excess fat bung it in an oven proof dish stick mashed tattines on top with some cheese sprinkled over and stick it in oven for 30-40mins or until top is golden brown:D Was one of the 1st things I learnt to cook:D Also really nice with boiled eggs mushed up in it and a teaspoon of curry powder for a bit of "je nes sais quoi":drool:

  • Sammygirl - paracetamol's fine to take when ttc. It works in a different way so it doesn't affect your hormones.

:hello: Hi Sparkle. You're the same as me! Although I put TTC since Oct 09 becuase I wasnt very organised at working out when my fertile time was so we spent a few months DTD at all the wrong times! It was probably Nov when we had our first go at getting the timing right.

Also, I spent the first few months (who am I kidding, I still do it now) DTD once and thinking "that was the one, I'm sure it worked!" and then not wanting to DTD again incase my body released 2 eggs and I end up with twins...what a wally! :rotfl: I'm a blinking scientist and I know it doesnt make sense, its not like he only sends in 1 swimmer each time!! :D I wouldnt even mind twins I just panic because I'm not a very organised person really! :o

Good luck today Jacobsmum, I hope there's no need for the injection.

  • Morning you gorgeous lot!

Right, not so much TMI but maybe TMI wanted...when you look for EWCM (and please don't laugh..:rotfl:) but are we looking for raw egg or boiled egg??? Because to me raw egg isn't white!? But then surely it would then be called BECM?? I'm only confused because someone was talking about it yesterday and said it should be creamy? Agh I'm confused! :o

Ahhh, that's where we're going wrong.

Jacobsmum/Penny - in my thoughts at the moment. x

Alamaya Hi there and good luck. I feel like I've been "waiting to lose weight" since I was 17. I'm just over 11st and 5ft4....I've put on an extra half stone since getting together with my fella 5 years ago. So you could say I've let myself go...(to the fridge.:))

Fuz and Retro I wanna be in the fat-bottomed girls club.

Bitzer Yay, love it when familiar names de-lurk...and how so! Thanks for calling Fuz an old tart. :D
Ooh, she won't let that one go...you watch, I'll be quoted now with a riposte.:rotfl:

    Morning ladies,

Well I need to come on here and vent. OH came home this morning and I was ready and waiting to BD as (I think) I'm due to OV anyday now. Anyway TMI, he couldn't 'stand to attention' if you know what I mean. I got really mad at him and called him useless (ouch). He said he can't just perform on command and I said he had to if we had any chance of getting PG.
Anyway, I'm realising that I totally over reacted and have probably left him feeling like half the man he was when he came home from work this morning. I feel awful. He'll be asleep now but I want to ring him to apologise. Also we need to BD again tomorrow morning and I'm scared I've put him off.

Anyway, vent over. Hope you are all ok. Jacobsmum - good to see you back. Hope all goes well at hospital..xx
