traffic recently

A few have commented on the fact it is a little slower on here recently.

I have a bit of speculation as to a possible reason.

For some reason, I do occasionally become aware of 1 or 2 particular posters being absent. Strangely, I generally miss them. For example, I am glad to see kennyboy still posting - I was worried about his post just before christmas.

There may be others - not necessarily ones I read every day, but every now & then. All of a sudden, I become aware I haven't read a post by x for a while.

Anyhow, with their proliferacy (is that a word? If so, is it the right one?) anyone know why pastures & lostinrates aren't about? I hope thay are well. I miss them.

I would miss most actually. But I'm not going to post a list of names, as I'll both forget people and am convinced I'd miss some, but also don't wanna give you lot big heads;):D
It's getting harder & harder to keep the government in the manner to which they have become accustomed.

Most of the bears have gone into hiding - not much point in talking down the economy and the housing market when both are recovering at breathtaking speed

I'm not talking about bulls/bears. I'm talking about people whom I enjoy conversing with...

Or it could be down to the fact that most debates gets drowned out by 100s of bulls. Mirror image of HPC.

LIR is away and pastures is moving house.

So nothing personal - both will be back in due course.

    Sorry to disappoint, nollag. :p

Not entirely true stueypants - any mildlish bullish view gets banned from HPC, while open debate is strongly encouraged here on MSE.

Not my fault that the Bulls (and the housing market, in general) are on the up !

To be fair it's a long way off becoming HPC in reverse, but people need to be careful to keep their objectivity and not instantly dimiss anything that doesn't fit the postive view.
