No it was more the stopping in the middle of a road cuz he thought the sign was a roundabout one when it was something else !!! In all fairness I took him to a road he had never been on in his life before and I knew there would be little to no traffic on it !!The two best things I have done with my life

MM, does he know all the road signs?0

He has started his disk and says he knows them all, and if you point one out he can generally tell you what it is, but I think he needs a bit more practice !!The two best things I have done with my life

Yay, my birth date buddy! Isla Mae is just gorgeous. Glad to hear that she is doing so well.
Also has anyone got a Snugglenest? We've just bought one as LO seems to love being in our bed and really will not settle in his Moses basket..
Hi Gisi, I believe we were almost birth time buddies too! Only 11 mins between Henry and Isla :j He's absolutely gorgeous
We have a snuggle nest, Isla doesnt seem to settle in the moses basket when its upstairs but is fine in it downstairsDue to injuring my wrist during labour too its really difficult to lift her out of the basket, Ive got to wear a wrist support with a metal bar through it for the next fortnight and Im worried its going to hurt her. I like the nest as it means she's next to me but I cant roll onto her but OH doesnt want her to get used to being in our bed. I may win this battle though
boogellyboo Isla is absolutely beautiful - congratulations. :T Has nobody quizzed you yet? Is she your first?, last?.
Not been quizzed yet 3, Isla's my first. Arrived 5 days late after a 6hr 34 min labour with gas and air for just the last 1 hr 40 mins. I didnt realise I had such a good pain tolerance but only arrived at hospital 2 hrs 2 mins before her birth so had no time for anything else!
Ladies that met today is TC the Trafford Centre? Im really close to there, I didnt realise so many were local peeps.Belly Monkey arrived 19.11.09 :j0 -

Turned out I shouldn't have been driving without glasses.
R.Mac - my DD goes to a CM once a week and it's £30 for the day - she loves it as she gets taken to a local soft play barn.
that's a point - what does a CM normally provide re: snacks etc. also if there was an outing planned would I be asked to cover the cost? Neither is a problem I'm just wondering what the norm;) is (although I bet everyone comes back with different answers :rotfl:)r.mac, you are so wise and wonderful, that post was lovely and so insightful!0 -
Hi Boo, welcome over  I don't think I commented earlier but your little girl is gorgeous and I love her name too!
Yeah, TC is the Trafford Centre. There will be another meet after christmas and before Dora goes back to work, so you must come!0 -

Glam, Jillie or Dora - did you happen to leave TC with the wrong child? The LO I have here has slept since we got home, only waking to be fed and cuddled
MM - I'm sure it's AngelFairy - so it would be the 2 people who don't have MSE access. Do you think she is lurking?
possibly... kian hasnt properly setlled, think all the noise and lights have over stimulated him....lol'Children are not things to be moulded, but are people to be unfolded'0 -
ooh feelie has deleted me as well. i do hope she is ok
whoever is in touch still, please send her all our love and plenty of hugs'Children are not things to be moulded, but are people to be unfolded'0 -

I think I'm turning into scrooge, work was discussing the Christmas do, the restaurant that has been suggested is smack in the middle of footballer land and for the two of us excluding drinks and petrol costs, is £60 :eek::eek:
My OH's one was £50 a head . Needless to say I was glad of the baby excuse not to have to go, although a colleague of OH's had a baby a week before me and she's going, but does have family close by to baby sit.boogellyboo wrote: »Hi Gisi, I believe we were almost birth time buddies too! OMG, what happened to your wrist? That's why I wanted a Snugglenest, I'm paranoid about squashing him! Susan- I will report back.
Well I'm delighted to report that we have had two pain-free feeds. Took a bit of re-latching but I feel so much better about it all now.
Had another tearful day today- ended up bawling on the phone to my Mum. C-section scar is so sore, but I feel a million times happpier after the successful latches.
