If they're building a new office from 2011 onwards, you might not have to worry until then. As such, they may not have any plans about headcount reduction/redundancy until it's either finished or they have secure plans about the number and types of offices/workspace yardage til then.

Well possibly, but its kinda hard to tell what they meant as I don't have my crystal ball with me this month.
I am opinionated and rather blunt.
This site doesn't check my status as opinionated and blunt, so you need to take my word for it (or use the search function). Any advice or thoughts I give on matters involving debt and recovery processes should be considered as nothing more than the opinionof someone who usedto be a bailiff a long time ago.
How rude and totally uncalled for. This person only wanted some help, sure they didn't provide alot of information but all you needed to do is ask some questions to get some more detail. Or maybe not bother posting which I think would have been a much better idea.
Ahhhh, get over yourselves. My original response did it's job, didn't it? It got the OP to provide more details and, as we saw, the only possible way we could help them was to do the radical thing and talk to their bosses about the plans, rather than a bunch of uninformed, uninterested strangers on a website.
