I'm a self employed mortgage broker, working from home.

These days, I only shave when I have a customer to go and see.

Here is a recent photo of me....

Until the moisturising stuff around the edge runs out, so normally about 10 times based on doing it twice a week.

Long ago one of my children bought me an electric (battery) shaver as a present and this has similarly been replaced with a rechargeable. Surely this has to be cheaper than using disposables?

My OH uses one which means there are always blades about which has got to be dangerous with young children around.

On priciple I am against anything disposable - it just has to be a waste of everything to throw something away unless you can sell them on ebay or dispose of the on freecycle.
The only thing that is constant is change.

I shave every other day- just to keep the cost down. Apparently according to Kelvin Mckenzie a pack of mach 10's cost 9p to produce.

3-5 shaves from each, any more than that I would shred my face.

I think i use them more when i'm only staying in the house.
If i'm going out, you want a cleaner shave whereas while at home it's just to make you feel fresher.

I'm really surprised some of you use a razor so many times.

In my experience 2 or 3 times tops is all any razor can take.

Anyone using a razor 10 times must have pretty sore skin toward the end, not to mention an awful shave.

    Ouch!

You should easily get 50 shaves from a razor.
