Did you receive an acknowledgment to your email it is always advisable to ask for a read receipt so that you have proof that they have received your email

I normally ask for a read receipt and wait a few day's if they do not respond I resend until they acknowledge receipt

you could try contacting there Consumer Relations Department on 01303 858821 or email consumer.relations@churchdwight.co.uk.

they are responsible for the Nair Pretty website at http://www.nairpretty.co.uk

see: http://www.churchdwight.co.uk/ProdRange.htm

hope this helps

Best of Luck :)

Many thanks Amilucky icon7.gif

No, I didn't ask for a read/receipt as I use Hotmail for comps. and (as far as I know) this facility isn't offered.

I'll contact their Consumer Relations Dept. and see what they say.

Thanks again.

I can post a new comp for tomorrow with E: 23/10 DAILY, then update and bump each day?

Not sure what others might think, but the above sounds the best way forward to me ;)

Best of Luck :)

In the absence of a reply last night I posted it exactly that way! I seem to remember Al Mac did that with the flip camcorder that Metro (or was it Evening Standard?) did each day.

Wish I'd thought of that when I first posted it on Monday, but it hadn't actually occurred to me that it would be a problem for people. Last night I looked at Tuesday's comp in Game Over and saw it had been viewed by only half the number of people who had seen Monday's, so realised they were missing the opportunity of entering a good comp!

Thanks for coming back to me Amilucky?

Is anyone else having problems accessing the updated Puzzler thread? I can look at the first few pages but after that it says there is a problem. It was like that yesterday too!

Any ideas?

eta: Shall I put it with Friday's date on tomorrow's post and update it on Thursday and Friday? I can post a new comp for tomorrow with E: 23/10 DAILY, then update and bump each day? Alternatively I can edit today's and ask a BG to move it out of Game Over?

Personally I'd much rather they were posted separately each day as different competitions as for me it's easier to find a newly posted or nearly ending competition than a randomly bumped one in the middle of everything.

On a slightly similar note the regular competitions board really confuses me. Say there is a website that operates a competition every month with a different question each month. Someone might post it in monthlies but then the thread will be closed so nobody can discuss it. Someone might post it in normal competitions but put the end date as the very final end date so you might miss all the in between months if you don't spot it when first posted. Personally I think the regulars section would be best for competitions that allow you to enter once per week or once per day but which are the same competition, and not a new competition each time. Anyway that's a whole other debate.:D

I agree twotimes the above is the reason why I no longer use the Regular comps board and keep all of the regular comps in my own database with a reminder when the comps are available to enter again ;)

I agree twotimes, which is why I posted them separately to begin with, but they were only on the board for literally a couple of hours before they went into Game Over, which I hadn't anticipated. When I first started on the boards I didn't know that (and I've advised at least one newbie on here to look in there for comps ending that night). It means 'one day only' comps can be easily overlooked or missed.

I enter the Daily Mail bag one every Monday (and know in advance it's going to be there somewhere) but I nearly always find the link in GO (when I look to see what bag's on offer).

It's a shame they can't be moved over later in the day really :(

Some go to game over early, some go in late. It's all a bit of a mystery to me too. Take this one for example. It had an ending date of 20/10 but unlike your metro one that only lasted a few hours, this one has made it and is still in current competitions at 4pm today on the 21st.

This was only posted at 11:18 on 20th, which was probably after the BG's had moved the 20th to Game Over and they could well have missed it today as they would be looking for 21st not 20th.
If a few peeps could click the expired button, it will get moved.
