Hi all
Thought I would show you some bits I have made for the Halloween party.
Here are some little tealight holders I have made out of Pips old Baby food jars.
The orange one is a jar with cellophane over it and Trick or Treat written on it, theres also a tippex ghost and some others covered in ghost tissue paper.
This one shows a door wreath Ive made out of an old wire coat hanger and some tissue paper
Really pleased with all of them. I also made some paper chains and also some garlands but they are all folded. I will take some pics of the room on the night of the party, I think it willlook really nice if I do say so myself!!
They look amazing, should be a grand do. Halloween is fun!

10. You are guaranteed to get at least a little something in the sack.
9. If you get tired, wait ten minutes and go back at it again.
8. The stranger you look, the easier it is to get some.
7. You don't have to compliment the person who gave it to you.
6. Person you are with doesn't fantasize you're someone else, you already are.
5. If you get a stomach ache, it won't last nine months.
4. If you wear leather and chains, no one thinks you're kinky.
3. Doesn't matter if kids hear you moaning and groaning.
2. Less guilt the next morning from over-indulging.
1. If you don't get what you want at one place, you can always go next door to get more!

LOL :rotfl:at the trick or treat vs sex thingy, right cheered me up. Being thrifty can be right hard work at times, especially when everyone around me seems to be spending for England, honestly I'm sure it's all on 'tick', we all know where that one leads to don't we?
Still mustn't grumble, I have roof, heat, food, family and love.
Happy Tuesday!

OH and I both need new specs so will also need to pay for those this month, in Martins email there was a site with specs for £5 so will give that a look over maybe not as main pair as it said they take 3 months to come but it means I wont spend as much on my main pair and wll have some pretty spares!!
Pip has got to go for an eyetest tomorrow for a check to see if he has my dodgy eye condition, not sure how they will test a 9.5month olds eyes but guess they wouldnt have suggested it if it wasnt possible?

Just a thought on the new glasses front, go via Quidco, theres a company called Glasses Direct, they start at £25, what you can do is trial 4 frames at home for £5 (there is a free offer on that at mo, should work via quidco), then if you order a pair and had to pay the £5 (if you did trial), you'd get that knocked off the pair your buying.
www.glassesdirect.co.uk
They've got 20% until the 19th, if you have single vision lenses there included in the price of the frames.
I had a pair of Daquari - brilliant, I usually leave last yrs glasses in the glovebox of my car, incase anything happens, but last yrs were broke, wasn't paying opticians prices. There brilliant. xxx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx0 -
