i too have to switch the NSPCC ads.
in my job, we see some nasty pics, but in relation to children, thankfully they aren't shown as the descriptions are bad enough0 -
nope, more popping so she's awake.
think i'll check and change her, put her in her sleeping bag and pray she goes off soon.
i even have the nursery rhymes going on the laptop (god i'm such a mum now)
night all xxxx0 -
Seconded!
Do we have another Weezl in our club?
Thanks everyone! The wipes have been relegated to make-up remover wipes (no laughing if I wake tomorrow and my face is red raw!)
OH thinks Morhulin was the other one the pharmacist offered - but he picked Bepanthen (bet it was cheaper!). :rotfl:
I love bepanthen and metanium - used both to heal my tattoos - but for wee sore bottoms I usually stick to the Asda/Tesco/Sainsbury's Zinc & Castor oil cream. It doesn't seem to be as harsh as sudocreme and by jove it works. My 2 year old reacted horribly to cloth nappies and was really sore, the zinc and castor oil cleared the worst of it overnight
Sugar - you're a better person than I am! I'd have made him clear the bathroom with his own toothbrush if he was staying in my house.
Angel - a 3.2mp camera is actually better than our high-fallutin' digital, what will make the difference in picture quality is the lens. My phone is a Samsung and has brilliant picture quality because the lens is pretty good, plus the phone has been easy to adjust to after having a pda - if you have a chance can I recommend you go into a shop and play about with one?
Also - taggies? I made one for baby G, it's a bit fiddly to turn inside out but other than that they're pretty easy?0 -

One of the photos was of a burnt baby where the dad had accidentally put baby in the bath without adding any cold water:eek:
The mum had left the baby with dad for the first time and he had tried to bath her. It was genuinely an accident. Apparently at the hospital the mum looked like she wanted to kill the dad, the dad was crying and the baby, despite the horrible burns to her bottom, was gurgling and laughing away!! Babies are just so fab:oProud Mummy to Leila aged 1 whole year:j0 -

Scruffy, am I not a chatter box? or have I posted a sufficient amount to be 'here'?
I've just made the base of my fridge cake, filled the dishwasher and eaten half a pack of oreos
My mum used to work in a nursery in a crap bit of liverpool and she once opened a nappy to find the child had a ring pattern burnt on their bum  The parent had sat them on the hob while it was still hot _pale_
I'm gonna go wake Edgar up for a feed and then sleep, depending on how long he feeds I may pop in via ipod x
Ps. Taken from my sister's facebook "J just earned a 300k Star Medal in Bejeweled Blitz! This is the ultimate medal that can be earned in Bejeweled Blitz! She earned this medal with a score of 314,200, which is one of the best scores in the world!"0 -

That is so sad. Poor baby and the Dad must have been mortified.
And yes, babies are fab!
