I'll try to catch up later - just got back from vets - puddytats blood came back with high calcium levels, to make sure it wasn't a one off they ran it again tonight. Also did x-ray to check for obvious tumors but couldn't see any... basically could be high calcium for no reason at all OR could be cancer or a couple of other things... need a specialist blood test that they have to order in (has to be shipped frozen) so will be a little while before we know... :(

Now, they sent me home from work because I had a headache and a 5 minute sneezy fit, and now DS1 wants to know what I'm doing on the computer if I've got a headache? Should he be worried that he's sounding like his mother? But I'm off to bed for a nap, see, I don't even need the excuse of a baby or disturbed nights! (although DH snores for England!)
I am feeling more human again, after 3 hours in bed and DS1 cooking tea. I asked him if he should be worried that he's getting to sound like me, and he laughed. But he says he has been worried about my computer use for ages, because I spend more time posting on messageboards than he does. He can't seem to see that it's because I know so much more than him, that it's obviously my duty to share my pearls of wisdom. He says it's just wrong. I think he thinks I am too old.
I'm 29 too. Need to get on with plotting what we are doing for my birthday next year. I've decided we are going on holiday for my birthday, not DH's, and we are going where I want for once (Forrest of Dean I think), but I have to find where we are going to stay. Current plan in my head is to stay at a caravan park, go along on the Friday and stay for a week. My birthday is on the Saturday so if anyone else wants to come join us for the weekend at the beginning for my actual birthday then they can (and they can book for themselves... I'm fed up of doing group bookings, as I always end up out of pocket). And if not we will have a lovely holiday with just us :)
I was about to tell you that we are staying in a cottage next week so I could report back on that, but then I remembered it's in the New Forest, not the FofDean. :o

Anyway, wrt you OH, glad Option 3 is a possibility, and do talk to your GP.

Oh, and I am not too sure about hugging Bruno: if we do it one at a time, his OH will get worried, and if we offer a group hug it will look like an orgy! :rotfl: So I'll just send rational vibes ...

The Bumbo is upstairs, don't like putting him in it if there is a chance he might fall asleep! He is a great sleeper, when he is tired he'll just drop off and I'm worried I'll come back from cleaning the toilet and he'll be all leaning forward asleep!

Haha Kai also falls asleep anywhere (although usually only has 15/20min catnaps) Today he fell asleep in his door bouncer. I didn't notice at first because he still kept bouncing....when I looked over at him properly, his eyes kept flicking open, he would bounce and then nod off again, bless..... I scooped him out and lay him on the sofa.....well, after calling dh to look, so we could both have a giggle:o
Just googled what 7 years gets me and found this:

September - Marry in September's shine so that your life is rich and fine.

This is mine.....For the record - I am 29, Dh is 36, we have been together 14yrs and married for 6yrs...although all those figures will have changed up by the end of the year:D

erm, why? I mean, I'm not claiming any particular expertise in this area, but mine would NOT have seen me every 5 minutes, but then they wouldn't have WANTED to see me every 5 minutes because if I'd heard ongoing noise I'd have raised my voice above their comfort levels. ;)

This is exactly how I dealt/deal with my okder two:D Kai (or any subsequent kids) will get no special treatment either:p

Well, I've just had a bizarre 45 minutes... Rhys has been breastfeeding

He was a bit fractious and started sucking on my top, so I pulled the strap down, he bounced around a bit, slammed his wide open mouth down on my nipple and stayed there for half an hour. Most decent effort he's ever made and we haven't tried it for five weeks!

Now how am I going to get his meds into him?!

  • Ooo - YAY Rhys!

Ring the baby unit Elle...better to be safe than sorry. One of the nurses can probably advise you what to do for the best.

    YAY!!
