Another month knocking on the door & waiting to be let in...doesn't time fly when you're trying not to spend 
Let's hope we haven't already had all the 'summer' we're going to get, so we can do lots of lovely freebie things like picnic in the garden & paddle in the sea! So--very obviously copied from the July thread, please read on.....

I've upped my challenge this month to attempt a serious saving surge. There's a couple of guest beds awaiting my traveller's head but it's going to take a fair bit of moola to get me there
So come Saturday, I shall literally be looking at EVERY penny...perhaps if I polish them I won't want to spend them...:rolleyes:...now there's an idea :rotfl:

Oh 12 for me again please... It'll be far harder for me to reach it this month as its my birthday and the Edinburgh festival/fringe and that combo usually means lots of "entertainment" money spent (I've also challenged myself to go to at least 4 shows this year too instead of my usual 1 or 2). Thankfully I have money set aside especially for this. I can do it if I'm more organised about buying my food eg buy it one day a week rather than 3 or 4 for bits'n'bobs but its still going to be tight!Mortgage free as of 12/08/20!
